“Sibley,” Primal barks at me, and I know he’s at the edge of what he can take. He doesn’t understand what’s going on.
“Wait. Just let me try something.”
Usually, my visions come after something traumatic happens or completely on their own. I’ve never been able to choose which visions I want to see unless I’m touching someone.
I think about Aziz.
This time, when I blink and open my eyes, I’m standing in the middle of his office. He’s on the phone with someone. I don’t know who it is, but I can hear him trying to get information about Kakos.
I reach for him, but just like when I was in the clubhouse, my hand goes right through him.
There is no pain or strain. It’s as easy as breathing.
I blink again, and I’m standing in front of Primal.
He’s running his hands through his hair. I’m sure he’s one second away from picking me up and taking me to a hospital somewhere.
“I’m still a seer, but it’s different,” I whisper in his direction.
“What? What are you talking about?”
“I didn’t want to say anything because I didn’t want you to feel bad, but I thought I’d lose my ability to see the future if I ever lost my virginity. It was part of the prophecy. I stayed pure, and I would be a seer. No one had ever tempted me that way, and that was the main reason I stayed a virgin for so long. I slept with you last night, truly believing I’d wake up this morning and no longer be able to see the future, but I can still see. In fact, it’s stronger. I can see specific events. It’s, oh gods, Primal, so much stronger than it has ever been.” I smile up at him, and he just stares at me in shock.
“Were you going to sacrifice a core part of who you are for me?”
“You’re worth it, Primal. You’re more than worth it.”
He grabs me and kisses me hard. “I’ve never made a better decision than the one to claim you as mine. I’m the luckiest man in the fucking world.”
“Don’t you know it?” I wrap my arms around his neck and nuzzle closer to him. For the first time in a long time, it feels like everything is going to be okay.

Primal
I didn’t even need to explain to the guys what had happened between Sibley and me.
Mated.
She’s my damn mate, and I’d allowed myself to be blinded to that very fact.
Not anymore, though. She’s mine. All fucking mine.
Corbin takes one look at me, at the way I’m holding Sibley’s hand as the two of us walk into the clubhouse, and he just grins knowingly.
“It’s about fucking time. I don’t think anyone could have lasted this long without claiming their mate as you have, Primal. I told Karsyn I was going to beat the hell out of you if you didn’t do it soon. Of course, her response was to let fate work as it will."
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, I’m a dumbass. I know.” I nod, but I can’t stop smiling. I’ve always been what people call ornery, yet just being around Sibley, touching her, and having her with me lifts my mood.
“So, how goes the search?” Sibley asks before she tries to pull up a chair.
On her own. As if I would allow that to happen right now.
I grab hold of her, stand her up, then sit down and pull her down so she’s sitting on my lap.
“Oh my god, you’re never going to let me go, are you?” She glances over her shoulder, feigning exasperation, but a smile still tugs at her lips.
