Emma:

Hey, just checking in to see how college is going. Do you like Cal Poly?

Vinny:

Emma, it’s been too long since I’ve talked to you. Good to hear from you.

Emma:

It’s only been a couple of weeks.

Vinny:

Like I said, too long. College is overwhelming but good. I think my roommate might be a psycho, but it makes for some good stories, I guess. How are you?

Emma:

Psycho roommates do make for some good stories, especially after they kill you and release a documentary about it ten years later. I look forward to watching it.

Vinny:

Emma:

Things are good here. Just living at home, still working at the grocery store, and taking night classes at ASU.

Vinny:

What are you studying?

Emma:

Just doing generals right now, but I’m thinking about elementary education.

Vinny:

You’d be an awesome teacher. You’ve always been great with kids.

Emma:

I was sorry to hear about you and Juliet. You hanging in there okay?

Vinny:

I was moving away to college. It wasn’t going to last anyway.

Emma:

Are you dating anyone new?
