Now is definitely not the fucking time.

“What is wrong with you? What are you hiding in here?” She attempts to wiggle out of my hold, but I’m still dragging her towards the door. When she notices that, she digs her bare heels into the ground with grunts of refusal.

“You don’t need to be in here.”

“Let me go!” Her foot strikes mine, bone crushing under the hit.

Blood rushes to my cock at the fight she’s putting up.

Not in this room.

Not with the memory of her.

“Get back in your room!”

“Oh my god! You’re unbelievable!” She uses all her strength to push against me, and she succeeds with shoving me back into the room.

My heart threatens to shatter my ribcage and hair clings to my forehead with slowly building sweat.

Fuck.

“I fucked her!” I let go of Jordie, making her stumble back, eyes wide.

A heavy silence falls between us, breathing filling the taut air.

“Who?” she breathes after what feels like a year long silence.

A lump forms in my throat, I feel like words are clogged.

Her fists clench by her side. “Who?” It’s not a question, it’s a demand.

I force a smirk to my face. “Are you jealous, little devil?”

She marches over to me and slaps me across the face, eliciting goosebumps along my skin. “Now is not the time for your fucking games, viper.”

I might have endured her hate this long, but this is the angriest I’ve heard her. It’s like I’m seeing a completely different side of her.

And she’s right. Now is not the time. But it’s easier than confessing everything I did wrong. Everything that will hurt her, as if I haven’t done enough.

“Who did you fuck, viper?” Her eyes are shooting me with invisible daggers.

I can’t get the words out. They won’t come out.

Get. Out.

“I—”

I swallow the painful lump down while Jordie waits, her own chin jutting out in an attempt to stop her tears.

“Lacey.” Pain. My neck is so painful.

“Lacey?”

I didn’t want to.

I nod once.

“In here?”
