“I’m well aware of that. But do you think I’m going to let a fucking cowboy make a mockery out of me on my wedding day?” I snap.
My blood fucking boils, and it has no real reason to.
“Gianna,” Dominic warns. “Do not make a scene.”
Jealousy is a new flavor for me, I have to admit.
“A scene? It’s like you don’t know me at all.”
I don’t cause drama. But I make sure it hurts in all the right places, just at the right time, so they don’t ever forget they’ve wronged me.
“It’s a dance, Gianna. He’s dancing with another girl, that’s it. He’s not finger blasting her on the dance floor.”
I shoot my brother a look. The girl spins, backing up against Colten, her ass grinding over his crotch.
“Yeah. He might as well be fucking her,” I say.
Dom tuts. As another girl joins them, she runs her tongue along his throat. This has to be a joke. I understand this isn’t a real marriage. That his ideal scenario is us staying the hell away from each other.
But part of me hoped he’d be somewhat interested in me. That I wasn’t as revolting as Tomasso made out.
“What, did someone hire strippers for a wedding party?” I mutter, crossing one leg over the other.
“They look like the same girls that were here for the bachelor party,” the bartender tells me quietly.
My brow arches.
Did this motherfucker invite them to his wedding to try and piss me off? I take a deep breath, slamming my drink down on the bar.
“I’m going. Fuck this. Fucking cowboys,” I say, sliding off the barstool.
Dom hurries down his whiskey and follows behind me. I pull out my keys and hand them to Dom. “How many drinks have you had?” I ask, dangling the keys between us.
“I’ve nursed that one; I assumed I was the designated driver.”
“Very good. We can ditch the car at the ranch, and somehow get a taxi into somewhere more interesting. I need a drink, and I need to be the hell away from these people.”
He snatches the keys, unlocks the car, and gets behind the wheel of my Rolls. I thought this was my way in. But the Sterlings are good at keeping people out.
And it appears that I’m getting played by my new husband, and he just found my trigger point.
CHAPTER SIXTEEN
Colten
The engine of the Rolls roars to life, and Gianna is walking around to the passenger side.
“Wait!” I call out.
She stops. She turns. And she looks pissed. Beyond pissed.
Good. I found one button. Jealousy.
“Wait for what? You want me to watch you fuck another woman? I’m not really into that, Colten,” she says, her voice flat.
“Watching? Or joining?” I counter with a grin.
She steps forward, closing the distance. “Neither. I don’t want you. I don’t want them. Actually, I don’t need anyone.”
