You’d have told Ma

Giulia

I would have told Ma, yes. But I would have told her calmly.

Nico

You’ve never told her anything calmly

Giulia

I’m older than you by eleven minutes. Have some respect.

Nico

Six minutes.

Giulia

Ma said eleven. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna believe the woman who birthed us.

Dante

Okay, but nobody’s talking about the real problem

Dante

You do realize Ma is not going to leave us alone about when we’re going to give her grandkids now.

Nico

I’m already a target. I’ve been married for two years. Don’t you remember her grilling Erin at Easter?

Sofia

That was bad

Nico

It’s bad enough Ma doesn’t like her because she isn’t Italian. I thought Mom was going to stroke out when Erin told her we didn’t plan to have kids at all.

Dante

Dommy, you’ve ruined all of us.

Dom

I found out TONIGHT

And don’t call me Dommy

Nico

Is she cute, at least?

Sofia

Obviously. She’s ours. What kind of question is that?
