“So then be honest with yourself and decide for yourself,” he replied. “I’m just finally being honest with you about everything.”
“Honest about what, Wyatt?” I was playing stupid.
“The fact I still want you like fucking crazy.”
“This doesn’t fix anything, Wyatt” I hold my gaze. “None of this changes what happened between us.”
“I never said it would,” he says, his eyes dropping back to my mouth.
I should’ve moved around him and kept on walking to the car.
Instead, all I could think about was how I really wanted him to just fucking kiss me already.
His hand came up, brushing slightly against my jaw, his thumb running under my bottom lip before he tilted my chin up, and pressed his lips against mine.
My hand came up to the back of his neck, pulling him closer to me as I kissed him back.
His other hand slid to my waist, a tight grip on it to make sure I wasn’t going to run away from this. The kiss deepened, our tongues clashing with each other as he pulled me against his body.
My entire body was screaming for more, but I was the first to break it.
For a second, we stood there breathless. His forehead rested against mine, his breath uneasy, his grip on my waist not letting up.
“Are you done pretending now?” he asks, quietly.
I hesitate for a moment, unsure how to answer. I wanted nothing more than for him to kiss me again. So I respond in the only way I know how to.
A groan falls from his mouth as our lips connect again, his hand moving from my waist to my ass as he tries to pull me even closer to him.
A moan leaves my lips. I can feel every part of him against me, and it just made me ache for more.
The worst part of all of this was how bad I was willing to cave in and give into all of his desires.
“Wy–” I whisper breathlessly against his lips. “We can’t do this here,” I say before I’m cut off again with his lips.
“So then let’s get back to my house,” he says as he pulls away, grabbing my hand and pulls me out to the parking lot to get to his car. “Because I’ve waited five years for this and I’m not letting this slip away from me.”
Chapter 19
Eliana
I WAS ONE EVIL BITCH.
I knew it was driving him wild, not being able to touch me until we got back home. Even then, I didn’t give him the chance before I was sprinting up the stairs to retreat into the bathroom.
It was very entertaining being able to torture him throughout the day. Knowing he had a game after our Pilates workout made everything that much better.
I was able to keep him antsy all day. It was driving him crazy. I could tell it was on the forefront of his mind during the game when I would look over and catch him off guard from focusing on the game.
It was my plan all along.
After I got home, I got comfy in a robe, laying down in my bed as I grabbed my Kindle off the nightstand.
I didn’t even notice him come into the room until I felt a warmth behind me. I turned my head to see Wyatt in just a pair of sweats.
“Hi,” I say quietly before going back to my book.
“Hi beautiful,” he replies as he leans over, moving hair out of the way to kiss my neck.
