“Mmm,” I hummed. “You actually agreed to come workout with me this morning.”

He groans, hitting his head back against the wall. “I don’t wanna.” He whines.

I grin at him, setting my cup down. “Pilates! You’re gonna have so much fun.”

He freezes. “You can’t be fucking serious.”

“Dead serious! You got a mat with your name on it waiting at the studio.”

“I don’t do Pilates.”

“Totally fine,” I grin at him. “Pilates does you.”

“Why and how are you so god damn chipper this early?”

I pushed off the counter, grabbing my water bottle. “Because you were annoying last night.”

His eyes snapped back to mine. “I was annoying?”

“You literally told your teammate that I was with you.”

“You didn’t correct me.” He shrugs.

“I tried, but you didn’t let me.”

“Did you, though?” he asks, moving a little closer to me.

God, why was he so good at getting under my skin?

I put my hand on his chest. “I’m not doing this right now. Meet me in the car in ten minutes.”

“Eliana.”

“Ten. Minutes.”

He just groans dramatically, making his way back up the stairs with an exaggerated stomp.

The torture was just getting started.

“ALRIGHT,” I said, clapping my hands together once he looked around the studio. “We’ll begin simple.”

He looked around for a second longer before looking back at me. “I lift 300 pounds regularly, not this shit.”

“Congratulations. Do you want a gold star?”

“I run drills for hours. Not stretch in a fucking downward dog.”

“Great. Maybe two gold stars?” I suggest.

He shakes his head. “I don’t need –” he moves his hand in a circle. “Whatever the hell this is.”

I sit down, patting the spot across from me. “Get on.”

“Remind me why this was a good idea?” Wyatt asks me as he stands up on a board, slightly losing his balance. “I also am not as flexible as I used to be, just so you know.”

“It’s great content, and it’s a good workout for you.” I tell him, watching as he struggles to do the workout I just demonstrated for him.
