“Blair.”
“According to who, Caleb?”
“Me.”
“Exactly!”
My chest rose and fell. “Everything I know about your marriage comes from you.”
“Who else would it come from?”
“That’s the fucking problem!”
I laughed again. “I’m celebrating a one-year anniversary with someone whose wife is walking around telling people her marriage is going to be okay.”
“Ravenna can believe whatever she wants.”
“Then make her stop believing it.”
His eyebrows pulled together. “What?”
“File.” I nodded. “File for divorce.”
“I’m going to.”
“No.” I shook my head. “Tomorrow.”
“Blair—”
“Tomorrow.”
“You can’t just—”
“Why not?”
“Because this isn’t some fucking Netflix subscription I cancel online.”
“I know how divorce works.”
“Then you know I need an attorney.”
“Get one.”
“I’ve been looking.”
I threw my hands up. “Look faster.”
He exhaled hard. “You’re being emotional.”
My mouth fell open. “Oh, don’t fucking do that.”
“I’m not dismissing you.”
“You are.”
“I’m saying you just saw something that upset you and now you’re demanding I make a legal move within twenty-four hours.”
I stared at him in disbelief. “After three hundred and sixty-five days!”
