I fought him. “I LOST EVERYTHING FOR YOU!”
“Blair—”
I hit him again.
“Baby, stop!”
“I LOST FRIENDS AND A BABY!”
Caleb’s face crumbled.
I sobbed. “I gave up my fucking baby for you.”
“I’m sorry.”
“You lied.”
“I know.”
“YOU LIED!”
My knees almost gave out. Caleb grabbed both my wrists before I could swing again and turned me so my back was against his chest holding my arms tight enough that I couldn’t hit him anymore.
“Let me go!”
“Stop!”
“LET ME GO!”
“You’re going to hurt yourself!”
“I DON’T FUCKING CARE!”
“I do!”
“FUCK YOU!”
I fought until I had no strength left then my body sagged against him. I cried and he cried too. I could hear it in his breathing and I felt the way his chest moved against my back.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered.
“Stop saying that.”
“I’m sorry.”
“STOP!”
He let me go slowly and I moved away from him. His face was wet. Good. He deserved to cry. He deserved for something to hurt him.
I wiped my nose with the back of my hand. “You ruined me.”
“No.”
“Yes.”
“No, Blair.”
“You fucking ruined me.”
