No, he documented and remembered.

“This is a new experience for all of us, so there will be what your people call a learning curve.” That really was a very good expression. English was highly enjoyable. “But I want you to remember that any facts, random or not, are appreciated.”

“Your Daddy likes knowledge and he’s ready to turn you upside down and shake out everything you know so he can see it.” Raxius sounded so serious I turned to glare at him, causing Shiloh to laugh. “Look at him. He’s upset I tattled on him.”

The word brat fit him very well.

“I do not know if shaking him that way would help. I need to do research first.” That should have been obvious. Even Shiloh thought so based on his giggles. “I need to document and process my questions. I haven’t even started writing them down. Research starts with questions that need to be answered.”

Raxius leaned closer to our mate and whispered loudly. “I’ll protect you if he starts shaking you upside down and calling out questions.”

Shiloh was shaking with laughter. “I…that’s…”

Very funny, evidently.

“It will not come to that because I will get you to promise him spankings.” Yes, bribes would work. The people of Earth loved those. “Does one spank per question seem reasonable? I do not have the right economic knowledge to know the exchange rate.”

I really should have broadened my knowledge before the fates allowed me to find my mates.

Raxius rolled his eyes, earning more laughter from our giggly mate. “We need a plan that will not have him following you around all day begging you to ask him questions.”

Why?

It was Raxius’ turn to laugh that time but he kept it inside my head as just his eyes sparkled. I shrugged, doing my best to look serious. “I do not see the problem with that plan.”

I would love having Shiloh around me like that. Raxius would probably drive me crazy as the expression went, but if he stood quietly and just glared, I could get used to his presence.

“You’re…” Shiloh sucked in a breath and did his best to control his humor. “I can see both of you wanting that, but okay…um…how about we work out a plan for questions that doesn’t involve shaking or spanking.”

Really?

He must have understood we were both skeptical because he pulled his shirt over his face and groaned as he hid. “We can’t do that. Eventually I’d get hard every time someone asked me questions.”

Oh.

“Why are you thinking about a dog?” Raxius eased Shiloh’s hands down and frowned at our shy mate. “That is a dog, correct?”

Alternating between laughing and groaning, Shiloh explained about the man with the odd name and his dog. It was…confusing…but we came to understand what he meant once he stopped laughing long enough to give us clear sentences.

“What do you think about teaching him to associate questions and pleasure?” Focusing on Raxius, I ignored Shiloh because his sound effects and muffled words made explanations difficult. “Do you mind the idea of him walking around thinking of special mate time?”

Raxius took a moment to think, which I saw as appropriate, but for some reason Shiloh’s head popped out of his shirt. “You should tell him no. I mean, yes. I mean. You guys don’t do that.”

So the people of Earth did?

Just humans?

Who was walking around aroused and thinking of their mates?

The emotions Shiloh was cycling through were confusing, but in his intent focus on Raxius, it seemed our boy was not careful. Raxius lit up with a wicked kind of pleasure that he radiated when he’d spanked Shiloh, and by extension, me. “You like that idea.”

Shiloh squealed and hid again. “Shoot.”

His bond had tattled.

“When his emotions go from desire to worry to desire to surprise…which am I supposed to focus on?” He went very quickly through them. “It is hard to decide.”

So I erred on the side of caution as they said.
