Laughter came through the bond so strongly I finally realized how wide open it was.

“I’m using both versions, brat.”

I was not a brat.

“It aroused you? Shiloh uses happy in a variety of ways depending on his headspace.”

Headspace.

That was an interesting word too.

“Yes, seeing both of your pleasures and feeling some of it made it arousing as well as it gave me a strong positive feeling of domination. I do not know a better word for that feeling. It is probably similar to how you feel when you are Shiloh’s Daddy and taking care of him.”

I wasn’t sure about that but I could say I was glad they were compatible mates.

“Feeling some of it? Did you get the full sensations he was experiencing?”

Raxius shook his head.

“No, I just got what I would call echoes of the feelings. He was sharing that just with you.”

Why had he thought to do that?

My question must’ve been louder than I expected based on the laughter he sent through the bond. I would work on that later after my head had cleared, though. At the moment it was fuzzy and I was using most of my effort just giving Raxius logical sentences.

“Because you are very curious, you love learning new things, he did not want you to worry, and I think part of it is because he thought you would like the sensation.”

Raxius answered the question entirely too honestly.

“There is nothing wrong with gaining information about new topics.”

He knew I was correct and sent agreement through the bond.

“There is also nothing wrong with wanting to feel your mate take care of you in new ways.”

His tone made me want to behave like Klynn when he was at his most frustrating. But I would not behave that way when he was technically correct.

“I am not little.”

I wanted to take care of my little, not be little with him.

“I didn’t think you were.”

Soothing feelings came through the bond, making me want to relax but I could not do that yet.

“But I do think it would make you feel good to be able to let your mate take care of you sometimes. It might feel…relaxing to know you didn’t have to make all the decisions and to feel that help in a clear way.”

Clearly on my bottom as Shiloh would say.

“I let you take care of me several times.”

He needed that but it was hard to remember. I would practice until I found additional ways he could take care of me. Pointing out the obvious ones made sense first, so I was helpful and explained them.

“We’re performing cuddling. That is a form of caretaking you are providing.”

This was still about me, though.

“I should be giving you additional caretaking.”
