I start pumping myself harder. It’s difficult to text and sext at the same time!
Lev: Already out. I’m hard for you.
My breath catches, and I start to pump my hips, fucking my hand. I spit on my palm and take myself in my hand again, moving with the rhythm that I need to get close to an orgasm.
Me: Are you stroking yourself, Lev?
Lev: I’m fucking my hand to the thought of you.
FUCK. I quickly turn the text into a phone call. The phone rings once, and then I hear his voice, his breath catching.
“Hey, you.”
I’m breathing heavily too. “Hey. I want to hear you come,” I say, fucking my fist, my heart beating fast in my chest. A rumble of a laugh comes out of him on the other end of the line, and I nearly blow my load right there at that sound. “I’m close,” I tell him, squeezing my eyes shut as my balls draw up and a tingle runs down my spine.
“Yeah? I can be soon. Come for me, little lycan. Let me hear you.”
I lose myself to that command, and a groan comes out of my throat as warm streams of cum spray all over my stomach and chest. I come hard, shuddering with the strength of my orgasm.
Just as I relax my hips back onto the bed and move my hand from my cock, I hear Lev.
“Oh god, fuck! Fuck! Fuuuck!” His breath catches, and I know he just finished, too. “Jesus,” he says, breathing heavily.
We lie there quietly for a few minutes, just listening to each other breathe. My heart is still pounding in my chest, and I swear he has to be able to hear it over the phone. When I’m finally breathing steadily again, I break the silence.
“I needed to hear you,” I say, my voice sounding less confident than my cocky ass usually does.
“I’m glad you did,” he says. “Really fucking glad.”
I chuckle and get up to get a washcloth from the bathroom and clean myself off. Lev stays on the phone with me while I do it, cleaning himself up as well. Then I crawl back into my empty bed, and I find myself wishing he was here with me, lying beside me.
We end up talking way into the early hours of the morning, and we finally both agree that we need to get some sleep. By the time we hang up, I’m exhausted, and I quickly and easily fall into a deep, restful sleep. That hasn’t happened for a very long time.
Chapter 27
Levon
Walking into The Copper Exchange, I’m surprised to see it’s kind of dead. I take a seat at the bar and order a burger and some water. A few minutes after the bartender leaves to put in my order, I’m greeted by Garrett, who leans his hip up against the bar.
“What’s up, man?” he asks, wiping a spot on the counter and then throwing the towel over his shoulder.
I shake my head. “Just got done at the shop and figured I’d come over early,” I tell him.
“Cool,” Garrett says, though I can tell he wants something more.
“What’s up, Garrett?” The words come out in a sigh. One of the other bartenders drops off my food, and my stomach growls, reminding me how hungry I am. I grab a fry and shove it in my mouth as Garrett clears his throat.
“I just wanted to check that Darian’s okay after what happened last week, you know?”
I raise my eyebrows. “What makes you think I would know anything? I’m not his keeper.”
Garrett scowls and rocks back on his heels, holding onto the bar. “Come on, man. You were here the minute I called last week, and word is, you two have been getting closer since you came home. If you’re trying to hide that something’s going on with you two, you’re not doing a very good job—”
“Fuck off, Garrett,” I cut in. I’m in no mood for his shit today, especially when he keeps thinking Dare needs to be babysat. He’s an adult for Christ’s sake.
Garrett raises his hands in surrender. “Okay, okay. Look, I just don’t want any trouble. I keep letting him back in because I feel bad for him and all the shit that went down with Nate. But I can’t have him coming in here causing trouble every time.”
I put my burger down, suddenly losing my appetite. The knowledge that Garrett is worried about Dare tugs at my gut. As much as he allows Dare to get away with here, he still doesn’t want anything bad to happen to him. I feel like he may even keep him here and allow him to keep coming back so he can keep an eye on him. Other bars wouldn’t do that. Garrett’s been around Dare a lot more than I have, and he must see what’s really happening with him and his mental health.
