“Aiden, please.” I beg him to move, but it only makes him slow it down.

“Shh.”

Kissing me, he gently pulls back. His shaft drags along my walls before plunging back inside. He holds himself there for a few seconds before retreating again.

“I’m in charge here.” He retreats again, painfully slow. “You’ll take what I give you. However, I decide to give it to you.”

Why is that so hot?

My breathing grows erratic. Clinging to him, I rake my nails down his back, the pressure likely leaving bloody scratches. I’m so turned on. Sex has always been enjoyable, but this is next level. I doubt I’ll ever want to settle for anything less than this again.

My skin prickles. The sounds in the bathroom fade to a muffle; the only thing I can focus on is the man doing his best to make sure I never forget our first time. After I lose track of how long he’s been pumping his cock into me, something shifts. The air between us intensifies as his hips finally move faster, harder, making my body ride up the wall.

The man is a beast. Giving me all he’s got. All I can do is hold on and pray.

And just like that, I feel the flood inside me break free. A wave starts at the top of my head and flows through me. He’s right there with me. As our climaxes peak, they whisk us away to a blissful paradise.

My release is so intense my throat turns raw from the scream that tears out of me without warning. Judging by the feral growl echoing around us, his is just as powerful.

Moments later, our weak and trembling bodies give out as we hit the shower floor. He pulls me close as the lukewarm water cascades down on us, its tepid touch a stark contrast to the thrill I feel, and I don’t even care.

That was the best goddamn sex of my life. My body is still trembling from the experience.

This man has just set the bar for what I’ll expect moving forward. Problem is… I don’t think anyone else will ever reach it.

I’m so fucked.

Chapter 22

Aiden

This woman is going to be the death of me. Letting things escalate to this is going to get me in some serious trouble.

She’s pulling something out of me I don’t like—possessiveness. The need to protect her slammed into me the second I lost control and shot my cum down her throat.

Walking away isn’t an option now—not that it ever was.

The emotion consuming me is unfamiliar. I don’t know what to do with it.

The women before her meant nothing. Lust came and went, gone the second I had them. I never gave them a second thought.

After a rough, loveless childhood, I figured something in me was flawed. Abandoned at age four on the doorstep, I was a burden no one wanted. My life was one fuck-up after another.

If Darius hadn’t shown up when he did, I’m sure I’d have fallen right back into the life of crime. Only this time it would’ve been real, not me playing a role.

Ironic, since everyone who once knew me believes that’s what I’ve done. It’s why I was the perfect man for this assignment. My shitty past served as the perfect résumé. The military just sharpened it, making me valuable to both sides.

I’m too deep in. I’ve crossed a line no one else has. This is my life.

Becoming a full member of the largest Irish mob family means there’s no way out. No turning back. Not that I’d want to. I didn’t come this far to walk away before the job is done.

Which is why I shouldn’t have involved her.

Fuck.

Isabel stirs in my arms as the water cools, pulling me from thoughts I don’t welcome.

She can never know who I really am. Being near me puts her in danger. The evil men I work for will use her as leverage to keep me loyal—which I’m not, and never will be.
