“Something tells me you’ll enjoy every second of it.”

“Not sure it’s much of a punishment if I enjoy it.”

I chuckle against her lips. “Oh, you have no idea the things I’ll do to you.”

I swallow whatever her retort might have been, covering her lip with mine and thrusting my tongue inside her mouth. She melts into me like she always does. It doesn’t take us long to lose ourselves in each other, the world around us melting away until someone clears their throat.

I pull away and look over to see half the club watching us in amusement. Tink shakes her head. “Did you find her tonsils, or do you need another minute?”

“Says the woman always getting tossed over her man’s shoulder and flashing her panties.”

Lil spins at the sound of the new voice. Amity climbs off her own bike. G walks over, but before he can reach her, Amity holds up her finger, asking for a minute before she heads toward Lil, who tenses the fuck up. “Get that look off your face before I knock the stupid out of you.” Amity sighs before tugging Lil into her arms.

“Oh my god, Amity has been body-snatched,” Tink whispers.

“What are you talking about?” Havoc asks.

Amity whispers something to Lil.

“She’s hugging Lil. On purpose, Havoc. She doesn’t even look constipated.”

Amity pulls back and glares at Tink. “I will punch Thelma.”

Who the fuck’s Thelma? But then Tink grabs her left boob and gasps. “You wouldn’t dare!”

Legs chuckles. “You’ve named your boobs?”

“Yeah, meet Thelma and Louise. You haven’t named yours? That’s weird.”

“Okay, before this devolves into…whatever the hell this is, we should head inside.” Havoc sighs.

Toot boos loudly. “Why’ve you always got to spoil shit before the fun part? What if Thelma and Louise decide to make an appearance?” Mack smacks him on the back of the head. “Dammit, Mack, there might have been Jello involved.”

“You mention my woman’s tits again, Toot, and Jello will be the only thing you’ll be able to eat.”

Toot’s shoulders slump, but he wisely shuts up.

“I really worry about that guy,” I tell Lil as she walks back over.

She laughs. “Toot, is…well, Toot. But don’t be fooled. There is way more below the surface than what he shows everyone.”

“I figured as much. I’ve stepped in puddles deeper than Toot. But knowing some of the things he’s done and the places he’s been, it always kinda rang false.”

“Toot has tapped into something women have been utilizing for years.”

“Oh yeah, what’s that?”

“The art of being underestimated.”

“Huh. That actually makes a twisted kind of sense. He’s not the kind of guy most people run from. He acts like he’s everyone’s favorite drinking buddy, and yet he’s the best damn sniper I’ve ever seen. And I’ve met plenty over the years. Being that good isn’t something you’re born with. Oh, you might have natural talent, but without honing it, you’d be nothing special. It’s hard picturing him lying still in the rain or snow for hours, sometimes days on end, without moving, waiting for that perfect shot. Toot and patience don’t belong in the same sentence. And yet…”

My voice drifts off as I look at the man heading through the doors with new respect. “Come on, let’s head in and get a seat at the back.”

“Good call. That way I can sneak out if the crowd turns their pitchforks on me.”

I turn my head slowly to look at her. “That’s one.”

“What’s one?”
