“I’m sorry!” I spin on my heel, turning my back to her, and slam my eyes shut. Another whine makes every single muscle in my body clench fighting the need to turn around and reassure her that it’s all okay.
“Oh my god! What are you doing down here?!” I can hear the rustle of fabric, I hope that means she’s covered herself back up but I refuse to turn around. I spread my arms out to show the plate of food and water bottle in my hands.
“My mother wanted to make sure you had some type of dinner.”
“Oh my god!”
“I’m sorry!”
“Oh MY GOD!”
There’s a slamming of a door but I still wait a beat, or three, before I let myself look at anything besides the stairs. Once I’m sure Sage’s safe and hidden in her room, I turn and place the plate and bottle of water on the air hockey table.
“I, uh, I’m going to go back upstairs! I’m leaving the food out here!” I do my best to balance my volume to make sure she can hear me but stay quiet enough that no one else in the house overhears.
“Oh. My. God!”
Yeah….It’s time for me to go.
I try to play it cool, running up the two sets of stairs to make it to my room. I’m still hard as hell, Sage’s tempting body burned on the backs of my eyelids. Sage’s body is perfection, complete temptation in an untouchable package.
I tug off my clothes, my skin feeling like I’ve been swallowed by flames. A fresh pair of briefs and a t-shirt will have to do for pajamas tonight. I flop belly down onto my bed, grunting at the painful pressure against my length.
Good, I deserve the discomfort.

SAGE
Oh.
My.
GOD!
My movements are jerky as I throw the towels across the room and tug on a clean pair of panties and a pajama set. My blood is burning in my veins and I can’t take a deep breath. Quickly, I pull back the blankets on the guest bed and cocoon myself in them.
Fuck, of course this is the nicest blanket in the world.
Oh my god. I can’t believe that actually happened. I grab one of the many pillows, pressing it against my face and let out a feral scream. Once I’m screamed out, I push the pillow away and close my eyes, telling myself that it’s all going to be okay. I’m going to fall asleep and when I wake up it will all have been a travel related stress induced fever dream of some type.
Of course, I never embarrassed myself in front of Bea’s whole family and there’s no way I ever full-body flashed Bea’s son and owner of the house that I’ll be staying in for the next week and the recipient of previously never flashing, the one that never happened, definitely is not the most attractive man I’ve ever seen in my whole life.
Nope, none of that is real. All of it a figment of my overtired imagination from a long day of travel. I’ll wake up tomorrow and it will be like it never ever happened. Yeah, that’s a good plan.
You’re so smart, Sage. Completely well balanced with the healthiest coping mechanisms known to man.
“Sage, dear, time to get ready for the day!” Bea’s voice breaks me out of my sinful slumber. “Sage!” I hold in a groan, rubbing the palms of my hands against my eyes, doing my best to rub the sleep out.
I climb out of bed and open the door, yelling out, “Yeah, I’m up. Just getting dressed!” I do my best not to slam the door closed after I get confirmation they heard me, but once the door is closed, I do let a groan escape me.
I shuck off my pajamas and pull on a clean pair of panties. I soaked through another, this time for a much more fun reason. Before tugging on a pair of black leggings and a loose fitting t-shirt. After a moment of consideration, I pull on a pair of thick socks as well. It is a lot colder in Colorado than Arizona.
I know Bea won’t wait much longer to send someone down to fetch me if I don’t make my own way up soon. I don’t know how she is so peppy in the mornings. At home she’s always up before me in the mornings. I've tried many times to adjust my schedule so I’m awake before her, but she always beats me to it. She assures me that she likes to get up early and she would never expect me to get up at the same time as her and she didn’t like the idea of eating that early anyway.
She’s so good to me, the best employer I’ve ever had.
And I’m the freak employee who showed all her giblets to her eldest son.
