His mouth finds my ear. “You gonna come for me again, Eden?”

I try to answer, but all that comes out is a helpless noise. He laughs and jerks my hips even higher, spreading me so wide it’s almost obscene.

“You can take it. I know you can.” His hand slides under my belly, finding my clit. When his thick fingers circle it, rough and perfect, I lose my what’s left of my mind.

My whole body goes tight. I swear I almost black out from the white-hot rush crashing through me. I can’t even breathe, just hang there between heaven and oblivion while the room spins and my body explodes. Bones owns me. Completely. I’m helpless, shaking, barely conscious.

The aftershocks slam through me. His cock is still buried deep, pulsing inside, and I swear every thrust punches another little moan out of my lungs.

I gasp his name. My voice isn’t even my own anymore.

He doesn’t slow down. If anything, he pounds into me harder, making the whole damn bed creak. A few rough pumps and he loses his rhythm, slamming into me with pure need. Then he comes. Hard. I feel every hot, deep pulse as he buries himself to the balls, holding me locked tight while his body shudders over mine.

For a minute, there’s nothing except heavy breathing and the wild thump of my heart. My face is mashed into the pillow, hair tangled, mascara probably halfway down my cheeks. I’m totally wrecked, but I’ve never felt so alive.

After a second, Bones somehow manages to roll us so I’m sprawled across his chest. His heartbeat pounds against my skin like a drum. For a second, I’m too warm and melted to move.

He wraps those huge arms around me and mutters, “Fucking perfect.” His hand strokes my back, soothing and possessive.

I lose track of time. Could be minutes, could be hours. Bones’s arm is an iron band across my back, pinning me to his chest. The sheets are twisted around us, sweaty and tangled, but I’ve never felt so anchored in my whole damn life.

He shifts, rolling me onto my back, and props himself on his elbow to just look at me.

His gaze is heavy, but not in the way I expect. He studies my face, my mouth, the way my chest rises with each breath. He lightly rubs his thumb over my jaw, the shell of my ear, and the curve of my shoulder like he can’t decide which part he likes best.

“You okay?” His voice is rough, but there’s a sweetness under it.

I blink, startled. “Yeah. More than okay.”

“Good,” he says. His thumb traces my lower lip, and I feel it everywhere at once.

He leans in and kisses me, slow this time, like we have forever. His stubble scrapes my chin, and I shiver. When his mouth leaves mine, it finds a spot on my neck and lingers there, breathing me in. Before long, I drift off to sleep against his side.
