“I don’t know, I didn’t think about the details,” Ash responds. “I’m happy to say it can be two of us, whoever is free at the time. If we constantly wait for all three of us to be free, we might not get to have much fun at all. I know the authorities are going to keep me busy over the next few weeks.”
“And you’re really okay with this? You want Ash to join in?” Henry directs at me.
I take a second to answer, a second to sweep my eyes over the wolf shifter standing in the middle of my room, hope shining like a beacon in his eyes. He is attractive, I can’t deny that. But more than that, he’s got a happy-go-lucky vibe that is really drawing me to him, like nothing ever gets to him. And I also think that adding a third person into this will also stop Henry and I getting too serious. “I really am.”
Ash lets out a whoop, whipping off his shirt at the same time and exposing a deliciously sculpted chest. Seriously, if he’d walked in here topless, I may not have hesitated at his offer at all.
“Who said we’re starting right now?” Henry asks as Ash pretty much knocks the wind out of him, jumping into his lap, forcing him to sit back down and straddling his thighs on each side of Henry’s hips.
“I do. The pack won’t expect us back for a while, and we’re currently alone.” Ash plants a kiss on Henry’s lips. “I don’t plan to waste a single opportunity.”
A look passes between them, one that reveals exactly how they ended up sleeping together before. Hell, my cheeks heat from the sudden lust emanating from them both. Henry’s hands slide around Ash’s hips until they reach his ass. He pulls him closer until he can tilt his chin up and catch Ash’s lips in a deeper kiss. I see it, the moment their tongues connect. I hear it as well, for both males moan into each other, igniting at the mere taste of the other.
After a while, an awkwardness creeps into my stomach. I have no idea what I should be doing. I’ve only ever slept with one person at a time, I’ve never been with multiple guys at the same time.
The vampire must sense my nerves because he breaks the kiss to turn his head towards me at the same time he offers me his hand.
“Come here,” he says in a voice I’ve heard once before. It’s thicker, richer and at the same time, rough.
Swallowing my nerves, I move so that I’m kneeling on the bed. Henry slides his hand into mine and brings me closer, so close that I have to open my thighs so I, too, am bracketing his body. As soon as I’m nearly flush with his side, Henry lets go of my hand. But he doesn’t let me go. No, he simply moves it to behind my head in a gentle cradling of my skull and inches me forward so he can kiss me.
His lips taste different to last time. They’re still soft, warm and fit so well to my own. But there’s something new, someone new on them. An earthy flavour that I quickly realise must be Ash.
It feels wrong, but also so right that I deepen the kiss, wanting—no, needing—more. Just as Henry is wrapping his tongue around mine, I feel another hand on my body, this time on my thigh. It's warmer than the one on the back of my neck.
Breaking the kiss, I move my head as much as Henry allows, only to find Ash is watching us. And his palm is the one on my leg.
“You two look so fucking hot together, and all you’re doing is kissing,” Ash says, his voice a little breathy.
My eyes flick to Henry as my cheeks burn, no doubt turning a deep crimson. Henry simply leans in more and places a quick, chaste kiss to my pursed lips before he puts a little pressure on the back of my head, guiding me to lean across him as he leans back.
“I bet I’ll feel the same way,” Henry says as Ash figures out what is being orchestrated.
Henry doesn’t force my hand, or rather my head, I guess. He gives the suggestion but leaves the final step up to me, allowing me to make the decision on whether to kiss Ash. But as I meet the male wolf shifter’s gaze I can only nod slightly before I’m closing my eyes and tilting my chin.
Ash is less hesitant than Henry. He gives me the briefest of kisses before opening his lips, inviting my tongue to meet his. He does indeed taste earthier than Henry. He balances Henry’s sweetness.
The hand on my thigh moves higher but stays on the outer side for now. When he reaches the gap, where my jeans meet the hem of the t-shirt I’m wearing, he doesn’t dip under the fabric. Instead, his fingers run up my side, skating up my ribs and igniting a line of flickering heat in their wake.
The mattress shifts as Henry moves. I wonder what he’s doing until his hand finally lets go of the base of my skull. Sweeping my hair back away from my neck, lips meet the skin which gets exposed. A groan travels up from my chest, one I have zero control over. It travels up my throat and gets greedily swallowed by Ash, who hasn’t broken away from my mouth for a second.
The sensation of having both of these males’ focus is a heady one. My brain doesn’t know where to focus, which synapses are being stimulated the most as my whole body lights up with crackling electricity.
“We need to lose some clothes,” Henry says.
“Agreed.” Ash peels away. My eyes flutter open as the heat I was feeling a second ago simmers.
Ash untangles himself from us, standing once more and shucking his jeans and socks in one fluid motion. Henry also strips out of his shirt and begins unbuckling his belt.
“Need a hand, darling?” Ash asks, noticing that I have yet to move a muscle. His cock is hard. Standing fully erect in his charcoal boxers, tenting the material to its capacity.
Shaking my head and trying to clear the wave of surrealism currently fogging my brain I move, hurriedly pulling my t-shirt over my head. I opt to remove my jeans next, instead of my bra. I quite like my small boobs, but I am aware their size is not most men’s ideal.
Getting the zipper of my fly down, I start to peel the fabric off but pause when I remember that I didn’t put on matching underwear. My bra is one of my favourites, a lacier pale blue. My underwear is plain, cotton, and a pair I’d grabbed in haste when I was awaiting Bree’s arrival and getting ready to head to the ranch house.
“Claire, what’s wrong?” Henry notices my hesitance. “If you’ve changed your mind, we can stop.”
“No… it’s not that,” I start, wondering how to confess my error.
