“And you betrayed him,” she shouted.

“Your father betrayed the club,” he said.

Angel lunged for him, but Hammer caught her. “Easy.”

“Let me go,” she insisted.

“Nope,” he said.

“He called my father a traitor,” she said.

“And you're about to put a bullet in him,” Hammer challenged.

“Exactly,” she agreed.

“Which is why I'm holding you back,” Hammer said.

Ghost almost smiled. Angel fought Hammer for another second before stopping. “Fine.”

“You mean that?” Hammer asked.

“No,” she admitted.

“Didn't think so,” he said.

A phone rang, and everyone froze. It wasn't Ghost's. Razor smiled at him, and Ghost looked at him. “Your phone is ringing,” Ghost said.

Razor said nothing as Ghost searched him. “Get the fuck off me.”

“Shut up,” Ghost said. He found a phone in Razor's inside pocket. The screen displayed one word.

UNKNOWN

Ghost showed Monster, and Monster nodded. “Answer it.”

Ghost swiped. “Yeah.” Silence filled the barn, and then a distorted voice spoke.

“You aren't Razor,” the voice said.

Ghost looked at Razor. “Nope.”

There was another pause. “Ghost,” the voice said. Every muscle in his body tightened.

“How do you know who I am?” Ghost asked. A laugh followed his question—mechanical and altered.

“You're difficult to miss,” the voice said.

Ghost glanced around the barn. “Who is this?”

“You're standing in a barn with armed men, a wounded traitor, the president of the Nomad Knights, and Angelina Sanchez.” Ghost looked at the rafters. There had to be cameras, or another bug. Monster understood. He motioned for Drifter and Jackhammer to search the barn.

The voice continued. “You won't find it.”

“Find what?” Ghost asked.

“Me,” the voice said.

“Wasn't planning to look for you,” Ghost said, trying to buy time.
