“I’ll order us breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He gets his phone and places the order. “It will be here soon before it gets here. I need you again.” I roll my eyes.

“Insatiable, aren’t you?”

“You know it,” he says as he pulls me beneath him and takes his time to pleasure my whole body. If I thought the first time was bodies speaking to each other. This time our soul is laughing and dancing.

We lay panting with rapidly beating hearts and his hands tenderly moves on body. In my heart, I murmur. I love you; you are the love of my life that I can’t have. He pulls me close to him, wrapping me in the comfort of him with soft kisses.

His phone vibrates. “Our food is here.” He gets out of bed. Pulling on his pants and shirt. He goes to get the food. I could hear the delivery being brought in. I got out of bed to pull my leggings and t-shirt back on and my disheveled hair into a ponytail before head down for food.

Naseer had ordered food for an army. “Who’s going to eat this much food?” I asked, amazed at how much food he’d ordered. It is a feast; this man has no idea how to be simple.

“You and I will eat what we can.”

We sit to eat and talk about the office. I told him.

“James is coming to Rhanaz next week. I’ll meet with him at the Pizza place where we used to hang out.” James had finally returned my call and said he would be visiting his parent soon and we could talk.

“Okay,” he responds without a scowl; I expected the usual Naseer, but his ease is surprising, and I accept the acquiesce. We finished eating and put the plate and leftovers away. My Fridge is stocked for a month at the very least. That’s of course, if don’t end up throwing most of the food away.

I try to head back up when I hear my phone ringing. He pulls me back. “Don’t answer it. Just today, can we pretend we are alone in this world.”

“That’s a luxury I don’t have as a mother.”

“That’s not the children’s ringtone, so you can ignore it.” His words surprised me.

“You know the ringtone of my children.” I’m baffled.

“Yes, I do,” he says, kissing my neck. “I’m not ready to share you with the world yet, ignore it.”

“Okay for now but I will check later, my team might need me.”

“Yes, you can check later.” He pulls me to the living room and pulls me to him, we sit together in palpable silence. “Naseer, how have you been getting in?” I asked, raising a suspicious eyebrow. He let out a quiet laugh, brushed his hands softly on my face “I lock all the doors, and don’t tell me you’ve not been sleeping in my bed.” I smirk and wait as he takes his time to respond.

“The caretaker told me you wanted to change the lock and you put chains, it made me laugh that you think, door chains will stop me. I didn’t want anyone to see me coming through the front door anyway. I paid the lady next door to move. Since I have your key and I have her key. I can access the adjourning door.”

“You paid the lady next door to move, why?” I asked, baffled. It doesn’t make any sense to me.

“Why else? I needed to be next to you plus it’s easier than asking you not to lock the chains. Still funny that you would think a chain can stop me.”

“What if there aren’t any adjourning doors?”

“That’s easy, I’ll just remove the entire door and don’t you dare say it’s creepy.”

“Fine, I won’t say it, but you know it’s creepy right.” I smirk.

“Not to me it isn’t. It makes perfect sense to me,” he says as his hand finds its way to my breast, and I turn to look at him “Can’t help it Jade” he says making me laugh, and out goes his creepy nature.

We are soon, throwing our clothes, our passion for each other is insatiable.

We spent the rest of the day watching a movie, eating, and making love all night. Next morning. Naseer says the outside world is calling and he has to leave and get a change of clothes at his place. I nod my understanding. Reality is loading.

He leaves and I do try to work but it’s impossible. My mind remains on constant playback of the last twenty-four hours. I Skype with my children and a few friends I could get a hold of.

Naseer called me later in the day. “Jade, I’m sorry, duty calls outside of Rhanaz. Raheem needs my help urgently. I’m packing right now. I’ll be back in a few days.”

“Okay.”

“Jade, you know. I don’t want to leave right.”
