“Yes, Mister Daddy.”

It had been some time since Tessa had been spanked more than a few swats, a fact that was evidenced from the very first swat. Pain exploded across her bottom as the heat spread over her pale skin.

One, two, three, four. She counted them off in her head. But Baze spanked hard and fast and she quickly lost count, unable to focus on anything aside from the burning pain radiating from her bottom. It wasn’t a horrible spanking, and the residual sting probably wouldn’t last too long, but she would go to bed with a bottom that was hot and achy, another thing that hadn’t happened in far too long.

She couldn’t count, not accurately, so she focused only on the pain, lecturing herself mentally with the same spiel Baze had used on the girls before her. The spanking was over before real guilt could attack and surprisingly, no tears fell, even though she was still worried about her Daddies’ reaction. Would they care about the fake tattoo or only the reason she’d gotten in trouble? Which one of them would spank her, or would they both?

She was so preoccupied with these questions, she didn’t notice any of the spankings that came after hers, not even her twin sister, Ellie’s.

She spaced out until Baze stood up and pointed to the clock, and she realized he was speaking.

Shaking herself out of the reverie, she turned her attention to her House Daddy not wanting to risk more trouble.

“Okay, little ones. You are all going to bed with hot bottoms, and it is officially after midnight which means if I hear another peep, any of you who don’t currently live here or aren’t staying here for a reason, will be sent home immediately and the sleepover will be over. I’m sure your Daddies will not be happy if they have to get out of bed to come get you in the middle of the night, so if I were you, I would close your eyes and go to sleep. If there are no problems, we will have French toast for breakfast. If there are problems, you’ll get oatmeal.”

Tessa liked oatmeal, but not as much as French toast and to several of her friends, oatmeal was a fate worse than death. A gasp echoed through the room and she smirked as she knew that with just that promise Baze had made sure that even his naughtiest Little would have lots of incentive to behave.

“Yes, Mister Daddy,” they sing-songed.

“Sweet dreams,” Baze replied as he closed the door behind him.

The room was silent save for a few sighs and several deep yawns as they all snuggled into their beds.

Tessa curled onto her side, hugged Gus tight, and drifted off to dreamland.

Chapter Twelve

Beau

He woke to the rhythmic beeping of an alarm he didn’t remember setting and rolled over to punch it off. Just as he disabled it, and settled in to go back to sleep on what was supposed to be a day off, he read the memo flashing across his phone. “Shit,” he grumbled, sitting up in bed and giving Dax a shake.

“Five more minutes,” Dax mumbled, throwing the pillow over his head. Apparently the alarm had confused him too.

“Get up. We have to go get Tessa.”

“We told Baze eleven.”

“We did, but I forgot I have that meeting today. The one with that new hotel theme park in Utah.”

Dax sat up like a shot rubbing his eyes. “Shit. We have a meeting?”

“I do. Meetings are not your thing. We agreed you would sit this one out, remember?”

“Oh right.” Dax grinned. “Guess I’m going back to bed then.”

“Not hardly,” Beau scoffed. “We promised Tessa a fun playdate and a sleepover. And I’m out of commission for half the day. So that means it’s up to you.”

“Great. We will start at eleven.”

“No.” Beau shook his head. “What do you think the odds are that group of girls didn’t find some way to get in trouble last night?”

Dax scratched his beard as he considered. “Low.”

“Exactly. And we promised Tessa if she got in trouble with Baze, she would get in trouble with us. That’s the rule. So far we haven’t had to enforce it, but I’m fairly certain that streak is about to end. Now, do you want that to fall squarely on your shoulders?”

Dax sighed, swinging his feet over the side of the bed. “Not really.”

“Well then. Get up and get dressed. I’ll send Baze a text and let him know what’s happening.”
