And then I entered Fairyland.
On the castle roof were dozens of huge ice sculptures, with different-colored lights making them shine.
Blue dolphins jumping from green waves, red phoenixes surrounded by yellow flames, sparkling white angels with outspread wings –
It was the most spectacular thing I’d ever seen outside of the movies!
And there was fog drifting over the floor! I couldn’t see below my knees, it was so thick!
I was walking backwards, my eyes wide with amazement, taking it all in –
When I bumped into somebody.
“Oh! I’m so sorry!” I cried out.
I whirled around –
And saw the most gorgeous guy ever.
Even hotter than Regé-Jean Page, Chase Stokes, or Charles Melton.
Well, I was pretty sure he was hotter than them. He had on a black Zorro mask, so I couldn’t see all of his face – but what I could see was perfection.
He had a strong jaw… cheekbones to die for… thick, dark, wavy hair… incredibly kissable lips…
And he was tall. At least 6’3”, and probably four or five years older than me.
He had broad shoulders, a big chest, and powerful arms under a black silk shirt.
In short, he was the perfect movie boyfriend.
I just stared at him in shock.
Then he gave me a dazzling smile, and I went a little weak in the knees.
“You’re in my way,” he said in a deep voice.
Oh shit!
I’d bumped into a super-hot guy like a total dumbass while I was gawking at the scenery.
“Sorry!” I said, and moved to the side –
At which point he stepped directly into my path and said, “Still in my way.”
Ohhhhhhhhhh.
Okay.
I get it now.
I’d seen Hitch with Will Smith. I knew how it worked.
I actually liked that an incredibly gorgeous man was hitting on me –
But I was also a little annoyed that he thought he could get me with such a blatantly obvious pick-up line.
Plus, with a face and a smile like that? He couldn’t be anything but trouble.
