“Speaking of him, the men will probably be back soon. I should get dressed and then the four of us can go do something. How long are you here for, anyway?”

“I told my boss I’d be gone anywhere from a few days to a week, depending on how long I was needed. Now, I can see you don’t need me at all.” She sounded pleased.

“That’s not true. I’ll always need you. Since you came all this way, you might as well stay for the week. That’s how long Ty is staying for.”

Hope looked intrigued. “I haven’t booked a hotel yet.”

Eden’s eyes lit up. “You don’t have to. You can stay here or…”

“Or what?”

“You could stay at the cabin with Ty.”

Hope’s eyebrows flew to the ceiling. “Are you crazy? I just met the man!”

“Um, hello. You’re the one who convinced me to stay here with Cole, remember?”

“That was different.”

“How?”

“There wasn’t another cabin available, and you had already paid for this one.”

“Imagine if I had gone to a hotel. Cole and I wouldn’t be together, and I would have missed out on so much.”

“Wait a minute. Are you trying to play matchmaker with me and Ty?”

Eden shook her head. “I would never interfere with your personal life.”

“Ha!” Hope said. “That’s exactly what you’re doing.”

“It just makes sense. You both need a place to stay, and there’s a cabin available right up the road. According to Angela, it has a master suite on the lower level with its own private entrance. You’d have plenty of space to spread out.”

“Nobody is spreading out,” Hope stated. “What kind of woman do you think I am?”

Eden tipped her head back and laughed.

“Look, Ty seems like a nice guy, and he’s hot, but that doesn’t mean we should shack up together.”

“It’s only for one week.”

“He might want to be alone.”

“I doubt it.” Eden hadn’t missed the admiring glances Ty had given her sister. Besides, he was outgoing and would probably welcome her company.

“Go get dressed, and we’ll discuss it more later,” Hope said, shooing her away.

Eden picked out some clothes and went into the attached bathroom. She took a fast shower, as she didn’t want to keep Hope waiting and was finished getting ready in record time. When she came out of the bathroom, her sister wasn’t there, but she heard voices in the living room.

She left her bedroom and found Cole, Ty, and Hope sitting on the couch. Ty was talking, Hope was laughing, and Cole was silently observing them. He turned his attention to Eden and smiled, his gaze drifting over her appreciatively.

She went over and perched on his knee, and he slipped an arm around her waist. Usually, she wasn’t one for public displays of affection, but it felt natural, and neither of their siblings flinched.

“What’s going on?” Eden asked.

“Ty is trying to convince Hope to move in with him,” Cole said.

“At the cabin. It’s ours for the week,” Ty confirmed.
