“Typical guy,” Hope commiserated.
“I’d like to stuff the gift cards up his—”
“What does he look like?”
“Huh?”
“Is he cute?”

“C’mon Eden. Just tell me what he looks like.”
She groaned, but knowing her sister wouldn’t give up, she folded. “He’s good looking, okay? If you like the outdoorsy type,” she added.
“Tall?”
“I’m guessing around six feet or so.”
“Hair color?”
“Dusty brown.”
“Eyes?”
“Hazel.”
“Really?”
She rolled her eyes. “Who cares?”
“I’m curious about your new roommate.”
“Well, don’t be,” she huffed.

“I thought you were on my side.”
“I am, but it’s not like he caused this to happen. It’s the rental agent’s fault.”
Eden deflated some. “I know, but he doesn’t have to be so accepting of it!”
Hope chuckled. “He sounds like a decent guy. You could have been stuck with worse.”
“That sounds like something he would say.”
“He promised to stay out of your way, right?”
“Yes, but…”
