I grab my pants from my ankles to find his phone. It’s a FaceTime call.

“Hey, Jay…oh.” She smiles a radiant smile into the screen. I try to still my heavy breathing, but she notices and cocks her eyebrow.

“Hey, Indy, what’s up?”

“I wasn’t expecting you to answer,” she says, laughing.

“Why’s that?” I offer my charming smile.

“It’s Jay’s phone, and I assumed you’d be home. Not with him. Unless…” she trails off, biting her lip, “my boyfriends are boyfriends.” She looks back at me with so much lust in her eyes.

“We are!” Jared calls.

I laugh at Jared yelling from the kitchen. She groans, rubbing her bottom lip with her thumb.

“You’re going to kill me,” she whines, sitting up.

The camera pans over, showing Micky asleep beside her in bed, and Jared’s words from earlier slam into me. I cock my head, and my brows furrow at the phone. She looks down and sees what I’m seeing.

Looking back at the screen, she says, “This isn’t new.”

I shake my head. “No, it’s not that.”

Jared stands behind me and sees it too.

“That’s what I was talking about,” he says, putting his chin on my shoulder.

“Mind letting me in?” she asks with a growing smile, her eyes sparkling as she watches us.

“We want more,” I admit.

“Did you not just get more, Cam?” she teases with a soft chuckle, pulling a smile from us. “Tell me.”

“Move in. I want you both to move in with me,” Jared blurts.

“I’m not leaving Mik.”

She didn’t even think about it. Not one second was spent thinking about leaving him behind.

“He can come too or take over your lease. He can make that decision, but after this weekend, I can’t do this separation anymore.”

But he must have already known exactly what she was going to say. I’ll give him that. He always thinks about how she will react.

I nod in agreement to his statement. “And I won’t be the weekend boyfriend anymore.”

She giggles. “That’s exactly what the fuck you are.”

“Told you,” Jared teases.

“Let’s do it.” She smiles into the phone. “If you two could see your faces right now.” She bursts out laughing. “Guys, it’s late, you both have work in the morning. I was just calling to see how things went this evening. Clearly, they went well. Go to bed.” She blows a kiss at us and sings, “Good night. Love you,” before the screen goes black.

Still holding the phone in place, I slowly turn my head toward Jared. His eyes are as wide as mine, before he smirks, pulling my head into a chaste kiss.

“You know, I was going to tell her I love her this morning,” he says, laughing, walking up the stairs. “I didn’t think she was ready.”

I wake up early, wrapped around Jared. I kiss his shoulder and neck, up to his ear.

“I need to go. I’ll call later when I get another phone.” He groans and nods. I leave him lying in a bed I would give anything to stay in.
