“Do you remember that night?” I taunt, bringing his attention over to me.

It’s only then when I have his stare on me that I shift back to the woman he killed. I need him to see my face, I need him to know it’s me. My rage flares at the thought that he won’t remember.

“Remember me!” I scream the command.

I don’t stop there. I finally get on top of him, holding the knife Lucifer gave me up above his heart. I aim it down, gripping onto it with both hands, just waiting to impale it into his heart.

He sees what I’m about to do and he panics, realizing who I am.

This isn’t enough, I want more. I want it all, having to show him exactly who I am. I need him to know he didn’t win. He didn’t succeed and I am going to kill him, sending him straight to hell.

I make myself look exactly how I did that night when they brutally raped and mutilated me, leaving nothing but a dead body. Suddenly, my blood is dripping everywhere, all over him and all over me. Naked on top of him, I feel nothing but powerful.

“What the fuck is happening?” his voice shakes and I smile.

Cocking my head to the side, I add, “Time for me to return the favor.”

“Stop please!” he cries out.

My heart hammers with a desperate need for him to feel the same pain I did. For him to lose hope like I did in those last moments. He deserves it!

“I remember thinking I didn’t want to die; I begged you for mercy,” I tell him and I don’t know why I start crying but I do.

“No, no.” He shakes his head in denial. pathetic.

“I didn’t deserve what you did to me. What you all did to me, but you took such pleasure in hurting me, and I didn’t understand then what I do now.” Pausing for effect, I add, “This is fucking fun…”

I stab him in the chest, which takes more effort than I thought it would and blood instantly gushes out of him. He screams in agony. The power inside of me amplifies and I get off on the high, on the power, completely understanding why this is so addicting. Claiming someone’s life, especially a man that hurt you is a damn aphrodisiac.

I crouch down to the wound I just inflicted and stab my entire fist into it, feeling his insides. His back bows and he grabs my arm to try to stop me but it’s all for nothing. This demon is going to fucking die at my hand. It’s harder than I thought it would be to spread my fingers inside of him, but I do it. I envision blades on the ends of my fingers, and he screams again. This time it’s much more intense.

I do what they did to me, reciting their little ritual, mocking it in his face.

“Well, let me tell you.” I slide my fingers, little by little, ripping up his chest and more blood spews as he starts coughing up blood.

“I made a deal with the devil, too.”

Pulling out my hand, the chill of the night is instantly ice cold. The heat of his blood coating my skin does nothing to stop it.

I take the knife and this time stab him in the dick, and with what little life he has left, he instantly howls in agony.

He almost rolls over, but I hold him in place.

“Did you feel that?” I cock my head to the side as if I’ve lost my mind, and in a way, I have. “Because I sure as shit did.”

I stab him in the chest again, and he coughs up more blood. Simply feeding my soul, the one he stole from me. Revenge is the craziest sensation.

I start to sing his number one song as I slice across his chest. “And you’re my candy…” I sing as he’s draining out. “It’s mine, it’s yours...” I slice a small hole in his neck. Slowly, I slide the knife across his throat, taking my time to watch the blood seep out. “I hope you rot in hell.”

He’s dying a slow death, trying to take his last breath.

“Now this,” I acknowledge. “This is from me.” Holding the knife, I backhandedly dig the blade into his heart and twist it, sucking the life right out of him.

He wheezes, coughs, and then chokes on his own blood as he begins gurgling. His eyes start to shut, and I hold them open for him. I need the last thing he sees before he dies to be my face.

Until finally, he stops breathing, stops moving, stops living...

And I sit there for I don’t know how long, just wanting to engrain every last inch of him in my mind. Silently praying, I’m free of him. The memories will always be a part of me, but maybe, just maybe...
