He pulled his phone out of his pocket. I forced a few more bites down while he searched for something.

Silently, he placed the phone in front of me.

I looked down, and my eyes widened as I stared at an art piece depicting us. We were sprawled out on the ice, naked. I was on my back. He was on top of me. Our mouths were locked, and the place we were connected was visible, and graphic.

It took me a minute to gather my bearings, and to ignore the bolt of heat in my lower belly.

I finally pushed the phone back to him. "Do they seriously think I would lay directly on the ice while we fucked? My ass would go numb."

"It's unreasonable," he agreed. "You were on my jersey, the one time we had sex on the ice."

"We don't talk about that time." Mostly because Jude had walked in on us, and King had very nearly killed him for it. Also, because it was hot.

King swiped over to the next art piece and handed me the phone again.

It once again depicted us fucking. This time, we were in the locker room. Once again, it was almost disturbingly accurate.

And hot.

I took his phone and swiped while I ate.

There was a lot of art.

And Paige was right—some of it was very titillating.

I was hot, flustered, and slick when I finally pushed King's phone back to him again.

"No one should be drawing this shit without our permission," I finally said.

"I told my lawyer to get them taken down. She said it would be nearly impossible, and refused to try."

"Did you try other lawyers?"

"Multiple."

I grimaced, pushing my plate away too. "Damn."

He nodded.

"The fanfiction is just like this, too?"

"Mostly. Some is slightly insane."

"How?"

"Part of the internet has collectively decided that I'm submissive. There's a weird twist in some of it, where I somehow end up birthing our children."

I snorted. "They're delusional. You don't follow my orders in bed. Or on the ice, for that matter."

"I'm not that bad."

I gave him a look.

He gave me one back.

"You're that bad," I said.

"I'm not."
