“Yeah, all the beds in the mansion are great, but my bed in the bedroom is unmatched. I paid a helluva lot of money to make it special too.”

“This must be a fan favorite when you have your groupies over.”

The laugh came deep from my belly. “Believe it or not, you’re the first woman to sleep in my bed. Girlfriends and one-night stands don’t make it up to the third floor.”

“Not I’m special.”

“You are.”

I pecked her lips several times. Then I cupped her ass in my hand and buried my face in the crook of her neck. I inhaled her scent and hummed softly.

“We should get up and get your exercises started. You probably haven’t done shit since I left, huh?”

“My main concern was getting you back.”

She rubbed her manicured nails along the length of my back and sighed deeply. “Well, I’m back now. Get up, shower, and get ready for these workouts.”

“Shower with me.”

“I don’t know you like that.”

I lifted my head up to see her showing all her perfect white teeth.

“Dow, how much do you weigh?”

“Hold on, Porter. Didn’t your mama ever tell you not to ask a lady about her weight?”

“No. How much you weigh?”

“Two hundred—ahh!”

In a few quick motions, I stood up, tossed her over my shoulder, and walked us into the bathroom. I set her on the counter and smirked as she shook her head.

“Porter Jones, don’t do that again. That’s too much weight to put on your knee!”

“I hear you, bae. Just don’t be hardheaded anymore.”

“You’re the poster child for hardheaded, Platinum.”

With a pointed gaze in her direction, I shook my head. Then I turned on the shower and gathered towels. Once everything was in place, I stood in front of her with a devilish grin on my lips.

“Strip.”

“Don’t start nothing you can’t finish.”

“Strip.”

She slid off the counter and tugged off her T-shirt and panties.

“Turn around.”

She did as I instructed her to. When her hands rested against the counter, I reeled my open hand back and smacked her ass.
