What the fuck is he doing?

I glance around to see if I am the only one watching this unfold, the party is in full swing…. Apparently I am.

He pushes her toward the door and she stumbles forward.

That’s it.

I follow them outside. “Is everything alright here?” I ask.

Her scared eyes search mine. Help me.

“Get in the car,” he tells her. “We’re leaving.”

I grab her hand and pull her toward me. “She’s not going anywhere with you.”

“Fuck. Off.” he growls.

I pull her by the hand so that she’s standing behind me. “Leave her alone.”

“Do you want to die tonight?” he sneers.

“You should ask yourself the same question.”

“Fuck. Off.”

I push him hard in the chest and he stumbles backward. “Make me.”

“Please, I don’t want any trouble.” she stammers from behind me. “You don’t know what he’s like.”

“I don’t have to know, I can see it with my own eyes.” I push him again, “Leave. Now.”

“Who the hell are you?” he growls, he turns his attention to her. “Is this your fucking side piece?”

“I don’t know him.” She shakes her head, clearly petrified. “I swear to you.”

“What are you doing with this dickhead?” I bark.

Another girl comes over and looks between us as she clocks the situation. “What’s going on?”

“Take her somewhere safe,” I tell her. “Stay with her.”

“Okay.” She grabs the girl’s hand and rushes her away. “This way.”

“Get back here,” he demands before turning his attention back to me. “Keep your nose out of my business.”

“Or what?” I step forward and get into his face. “You think you’re a big man, bullying a woman.” I push him in the chest and he stumbles back again. “Pick on someone your own fucking size.”

“I’m going to fucking kill you.”

“If I don’t kill you first.”

He takes a swing but I duck and hit him hard in the jaw, his head snaps back.

I hit him again, a few times. He tackles me to the ground and we wrestle, punches thrown, he kicks me while I’m down and we’re in a full-on fight.

People scream, some run. Him…he’s about to meet his maker.

Fucking asshole.
