“Shit!”
My hand flew backwards and curled around one of Their horns. Kael snarled and the sound vibrated straight through me. They braced Their hooves against the forest floor, and Their hips drove upwards at the same moment my body came down. Their prick pegged my prostate, and the sensation was so overwhelming that my thoughts scattered completely. I tightened my fist around Their horn and tugged Them towards me. Kael immediately understood, and Their mouth found the curve where my neck met my shoulder. Their tongue dragged slowly across my damp skin, gathering the sweat there with a pleased hum.
“You taste so sweet, treasure.”
A broken whine escaped me. Everything was becoming too much. Their hands gripping me, Their breath against my neck, the growls vibrating through Their chest, the forest surrounding us. Kael and the Beast holding me between Them, even though They occupied the same body. Pleasure climbed higher and higher until every muscle in my body seemed drawn tight, a string stretched to breaking point.
“Shit, Kael,” I whimpered. “I’m so—mmm. I’m so c-close.”
Their mouth brushed my neck. “Let yourself fall, Teddy. We will be sure to catch you.”
I squeezed my eyes shut. My jaw clenched. My balls drew tight, ready to burst. “I . . . I . . .”
I was right there. Teetering on the edge, ready to fall headfirst into euphoria.
But I needed more.
“Kael, I need—fuck—I need . . .”
And as always, Kael knew exactly what I needed before I did.
Their teeth sank into my neck, burying themselves in the muscle. Pain exploded through me, and pleasure followed. I threw my head back and screamed into the empty forest, loud enough that my voice cracked. Cum erupted from my dick in thick ropes, splattering my stomach and chest, some even reaching my chin. Kael lapped at the blood spilling from the sensitive wound in my neck, and combined with Their length pounding against that bundle of nerves, it was too much.
My head grew foggy. My body oversensitive.
Kael thrust once.
Twice.
Three times.
Their groin slammed against my ruined arse before Their rhythm faltered. Fingers dug into my thighs hard enough to bruise, and Kael roared into the forest as warmth flooded me.
After an undetermined amount of time, my legs were slowly lowered to either side of Kael’s body. I released Their horn, my arm falling limp as aftershocks rippled through me. Their chest rose and fell against my back with every deep breath, rocking me in a gentle rhythm. My eyelids grew heavy. Surrounded by the quiet of Barrowfell Woods and wrapped in my demon’s arms, I could happily have fallen asleep right there.
When I finally glanced over my shoulder, the glow had disappeared from Kael’s eye. The Beast had retreated, leaving just the two of us to bask in the aftermath. Kael’s cheeks were flushed. His eyes were glassy and slightly dazed, and when he looked down at me, his mouth softened into a smile. A breeze whispered through the trees and I shivered. Kael immediately wrapped his arms tighter around me, uncaring of the mess coating my skin. His warmth seeped into me, chasing away the chill, and I nuzzled deeper into his embrace with a contented hum.
“So,” I murmured after a while. “Does the forest still scare you?”
Kael buried his face against my neck, and I felt his smile against my skin. “No. With you by my side, I don’t think anything could scare me.”
My chest squeezed. I turned my head and found his mouth with mine. By the time we finally dragged ourselves from the forest floor, the sun had dipped low enough to paint the gaps between the trees in fading streaks of gold. Kael helped me back into my rumpled clothes, then carefully plucked a rogue leaf from my hair. I wasn’t particularly looking forward to walking through the woods with cum dripping from my hole, but thankfully, home wasn’t far.
Kael shifted back into his human form. Fur, hooves, and horns disappeared beneath swirling black smoke, replaced by clothes and, naturally, a pair of his beloved Crocs. I slipped my hand into his, and our fingers intertwined automatically. But rather than begin the journey home, we simply stood there, looking at the forest that had once intimidated us both for very different reasons.
For Kael, Barrowfell had been another prison. He’d escaped the chains only to find himself trapped among the trees instead. Held there by hunger, fear, and the belief that he could never be anything more than the monster everyone believed him to be.
For me, it had always been the place you didn’t go. The home of something dangerous. Something monstrous. Something I hadn’t really believed existed until I found it eating a body on my embalming room floor.
I smiled.
It was funny how things worked out, because now, Barrowfell Woods was exactly what it had always been beneath the stories. Trees. Mud. Roots tangled beneath the earth. Leaves whispering overhead.
Just a forest and nothing more.
And Kael wasn’t its monster anymore.
He was mine.
