I was riding him when she called his name.
He groaned.
His dick was all the way in me, thighs were shaking, that last climb to my third nut had already started. His hands were on my hips. I put my mouth against his.
"Don't you dare stop."
He didn't. I came on him, creaming all over his chest, with my forehead on his shoulder and my teeth in my lip.
I pulled off him while he was still trying to breathe; his dick was still hard. I grabbed my robe off the floor and dragged it on, and opened the door.
Behind me, he was trying to fix his jeans, not rushed at all.
Maggie took in the robe. The room. Him.
She glared at me. I almost laughed.
"Imma shower," I said.
"The guys are coming over for steaks. You and your ex-wife are welcome."
She blinked.
"Me?"
"Unless Grizz got another ex-wife over there. Then she can come too."
"Lila. Stop," Knox warned.
"What? I'm being hospitable."
I said it to Knox. I didn't wait for a response.
In the bathroom, I heard her start in on him before I'd even turned the water on.
When I came out, they were gone.
I put on jeans and a shirt. Marinated. Potatoes. I didn't put any onions in Tiny's part of the salad. I set the card table on my side of the yard.
By eight, the boys were there. By nine, I was tipsy, and we were in the middle of a spades game. Knox sat across from me. His knee brushing mine under the table once.
Maggie came out of his door, letting it slam, and just started whining.
"You guys never treated me like you treat her."
Everybody looked at her.
Knox sighed.
"Maggie—"
"Because you're annoying," I didn't hold back.
Hawk choked on his beer. Sully put his cards down like the hand had ended.
Maggie stared at me.
"Excuse me?"
