"In a good way, I hope."

"The best." I pulled her hand up so I could kiss the tips of her fingers. My other hand guided my shaft into her hot, silky depths.

We groaned in unison.

"Lie on top of me. I need to feel all of you."

I repositioned us so that Angelica was totally on the bed, and so was I. How I did that without leaving her sheath was one of life's mysteries, but I did it. I stretched out over her, careful to only put some of my weight on top of her. She might be tall, but she was still slender, and I had a good ninety pounds on her.

"More, Matthew, I need to feel you surround me."

I settled even more weight on her, and it did feel good being cradled by all of her gentle curves. She wrapped her legs around my waist and lifted up, taking me by surprise. She grinned up at me.

"You were taking too long."

I smiled down at her and drew out. Then, slowly, ever so slowly, I pushed back in. Deep. Then I twisted my hips.

"Oh yeah. Do that again. And again. And again."

I shouted a laugh.

How could she make me laugh like this?

I did it again. And again.

She was writhing beneath me, and I was on a razor's edge.

I reached between us to touch her clit.

"No, my breast," she said as she grabbed my wrist.

I changed directions and pinched her nipple.

"Beautiful, Matthew. So beautiful," she shouted as her body clamped around me. Her sheath kept rippling as her orgasm continued. Then she shoved upward. I stopped watching her face and pushed deep. Caught up on an incredible wave of bliss.

When I finally opened my eyes again, she was staring up at me, love shining in her eyes. I prayed to God that by the time we got home I would still have that gift.

Chapter Twenty-Five

The connecting door opened at ten fifteen, and I finally got to see the room I'd been sleeping next to for two nights.

It looked like ours, minus the romance. Two laptops on the dining table, coffee cups, a whiteboard on an easel that somebody had probably wheeled in past the hotel's objections. Layla stood at the window in her silk armor again, ready for the day. Beto lifted his coffee to me in salute. And three men I'd never seen before stood up as I walked in, which told me they were either really polite, or soldiers.

I’m guessing the second.

"Angelica." Matthew's hand settled warm on my back. "Vargas and Pinto, local, the best in the state. And Deke. He and I served together. They've been here since we landed."

Since we landed. So, he'd had people watching us for three days, and I'd never seen one of them. He said it like it was an obvious fact. Like grass was green. Was that a lie by omission? Because five outrageously good orgasms were not going to buy him any slack.

"Gentlemen. Thank you for watching over me."

Vargas turned one of the laptops toward us. The screen showed an empty column of white with a cursor blinking at the top.

“What’s that?”

"Every word spoken in your sitting room shows up here," Matthew said. "Live transcript, live translation. When Costa talks, five people are reading him in real time. If anything goes wrong, we're through that door in under five seconds."

"The sitting room," I repeated.
