“We’re…taking it slow,” Kira mumbled.
“Bullshit, I know what’s up,” Victoria said through a mouthful of food. She gave Kira a wink. “Come to my room sometime, babe. You can tell me all the details.”
“Sure…if I’m allowed,” Kira answered, casting Nathaniel a wary look.
“You will be allowed free time,” he informed her, before tugging her leash gently. “Come, pet.”
Victoria watched them go with a glint in her eyes, her voice singing out, “Bye.”
“Some rules for you, pet,” Nathaniel said, leading her up the stairwell, which was busy with students heading to class. “Tonight, after dinner, you will wait for me by your locker, on your knees.”
Kira bristled. “On my knees? Where everyone can see?” She tried to keep her voice low as they reached the upper levels of the dorm, joining the throng of students heading up to the foyer. The wolves gave them a wide berth, whilst the vampires paid them no mind.
Nathaniel did not bother to lower his voice as he replied, allowing it to echo in the stairwell. “As I said, pet: every day, after school, you will wait for me on your knees, by your locker.” He ignored Kira’s silent pleas to keep his voice down. “You will spend an hour with me in my office for training every day after school. Afterwards, you may have free time until seven o’clock, when you will join me in my dorm for dinner.”
“I’d rather eat alone.”
“You will eat with me, or you will not eat at all.”
Reaching the foyer together, Kira walked beside him, keeping so close they were touching. He smiled as he realised what she was doing—trying to make the leash less obvious to the people around them.
Their earlier delay leaving the dorm had put them behind schedule, and the bell soon rang to signal the start of class. Nathaniel took Kira to the sick bay anyway.
“We’re still going to the sick bay?” she asked hopefully as he led her through a stone archway. “I thought you didn’t want me being late.”
“I mostly didn’t want us lingering to talk to Victoria. Besides, visiting Susie is more important than your Potions class.”
“It is,” Kira agreed, throwing him a grateful smile that made his cock twitch. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” He opened the sick bay door for her.
“Not coming in?” she asked when he didn’t follow.
He shook his head, deciding to afford the two female wolves some privacy. “I’ll wait.”
“Are you sure? I’m sure Susie would like to thank you in person for saving her.”
That hadn’t even occurred to him, but he smiled and shook his head. “Another time.”
He paced back and forth in the corridor, enjoying the peace and quiet. Kira emerged a few minutes later wearing a relieved smile, looking at him with large, happy eyes that made him want to kiss her.
“How is Susie?” he asked as they set down the corridor.
“Good. She seems like her normal self. But Mrs. Bur has decided to keep her for another couple of days, so she’s feeling cooped up.”
“Does she? Well…” Nathaniel considered this as he reclipped the leash to Kira’s neck, noting the subtle way she averted her gaze as he did so. “Why don’t you bring her some books to read during recess?”
“That’s not a bad idea,” Kira said hesitantly, as if not trusting his motives. “You’ll let me do that?”
“Of course. You can do whatever you please during school hours.”
“Huh. And here I was thinking you were going to keep me on a leash all day.”
“Don’t tempt me, pet.”
His reasons for giving her space were twofold. Not only was it healthy for her to have some time away from him, but the return of her freedom would make it all the more humiliating for her when he took it from her again. It was harsh but effective, and it was only step one of what he had planned for her.
Tonight, after school, he would strip her down in his office and make her go down on him. His balls ached at the prospect, and he sucked in air to try and cool his arousal.
