She’s got huge black sunglasses on and a very large takeaway cup of coffee between her hands.

“You look like you’re in a pretty bad shape,” I remark with a smirk.

“Did I ask for your opinion, dickface?”

“Just remarking on what you look like, Chastity. Had a big night last night? Certainly looks like you did.”

She groans. “I don’t want to talk about it.”

“Let me guess,” I say, tapping my fingers against my mouth. “Shots? Knowing you, I’m assuming it was probably… Tequila?”

She frowns at me. “Bingo.”

She’s kinda cute how vulnerable she is sitting there in her tiny-ass car. It looks like all she wants is a hug.

Well, she’s certainly not getting one from me, that’s for sure.

“It’s going to be twice as fun for me getting to tease you whilst you’re hungover,” I say.

She growls.

“Don’t even think about it or I’ll bite your head off.”

“Not just a little bit of fun while you’re like this?”

“No fucking way, Nicholas. Go. Away.”

“Come on, loosen up.”

“Why are you still standing next to my car? Haven’t you heard of privacy?”

“No, I haven’t,” I reply. “This is too hilarious to walk away from. You look like you’re in considerable pain right there.”

She shakes her head at me.

“Gee, thanks for all the support.”

“Why are you still sitting in the car?” I ask her.

“Because I don’t want to face the day,” she replies. “Because I don’t want to talk to you. Isn’t that pretty obvious?”

“I feel insulted.”

“You should be. How many times do I have to tell you to get lost?”

“Get out the car, Chastity. I guess you’re going into work, why else would you be here? Time to face the day.”

“I just want to sit here for a few more minutes, give me that simple relief.”

“Nope. Out you get. Gotta get to work.”

“You’re not my boss,” she tells me with a sneer. “You’re just an annoying piece of dick.”

“No, I’m not. And you’re still going with the insults, huh? After all this time?”

“I enjoy calling you names.”

“Well, maybe do that out of the car? It might be really fun for me to watch you try to recover from a hangover, but you have to go to work sometime.”
