Big hands were gripping and yanking us up from the ground, shoving us apart.

“Enough!” roared Diesel.

I swung again, but a big ol’ redhead caught my arm. “Your Prez has spoken, dumb fuck.”

Art kicked at me, but Chains smacked the leg with, well, a chain. Art yelped but pulled his leg back in and kept it there.

At his limit with us, Diesel bellowed, “Now why are you fighting?”

Art shouted, “He attacked me for no reason!”

“His blanket!” I yelled.

That made the room go quiet since it made no sense.

Heatedly, I explained, “It’s on my phone.”

Art fucking smirked again. “Gettin’ you a little photo of me while I sleep, Mavy?”

“Hey!” yelled Diesel as we tried to get at each other again, but then he saw Tucker trying to sneak out of the room. “Freeze!”

Tuck’s eyes closed in regret, his hands already in the air as he turned back around. “Okay, but hear me out.” He pointed to Art’s bed. “I was mad. I didn’t think my sister should be in his bed.”

Smug-like, Art shrugged.

“You sonofabitch!” I clambered to get a hold of him, but Diesel’s wolves were powerful and I was outnumbered.

“That’s it,” said Diesel. “I’m done with you three. Shovel time.”

“Er?”

The three of us went board straight.

Chains shrugged. “To the ground they go.”

“Dude!” Tuck’s eyes were so wide they doubled in size. “I’m marrying your sister.”

Art looked nervous, too. “Diesel, it’s all good.” He looked at me. “We’re good, right?”

“Hell yeah!” I looked to Diesel. “I even share my cigarettes with him! I gave him three yesterday!”

“That’s right!” said Art as we were ushered out of his room. “Tonight, he just asked me on a date!”

I growled at him, “Someone had to pull you out of your ‘depression’.”

“Me, depressed? At least I’m not on the floor in a ‘nightmare’.”

“No, you’re wallowing in bed.”

“Not so bad when your wife is there.”

“You sonofabitch!”

I broke free and so did he. We locked up until pried apart again.

Firm hands had the back of our cuts and were practically carrying us toward the Cave like we were in the mouth of a mama dog.

Practically hanging, I sneered past two Ryders. “Why was my wife in your bed, asshole?”
