He wanted them to pay.

But he could not leave today.

Not when Jude was sick and alone upstairs.

Sky clenched his jaw and forced himself to push those thoughts aside for now. Taking a deep breath, he turned toward the kitchen and began preparing breakfast. Anger prickled fiercely beneath his skin.

Sky wanted to remember every little thing Jude liked when it came to food. An omelet loaded with onions, steamed broccoli, a glass of milk, unpeeled cucumber salad with vinegar, brown sugar, and lots of onions—those were some of his favorites. Thankfully, they had all the ingredients in the refrigerator.

As he prepared breakfast, however, his thoughts kept drifting back to Mitch and the cruelty she had shown. The more he thought about it, the more his anger simmered beneath the surface. A horrible idea crossed his mind. Sky did not know when it had become this way, but when it came to Jude, there was almost nothing he would not do. He would do everything for him.

And that realization only brought his mind back to the previous night.

FLASHBACK

Sky had no idea what to do.

He paced back and forth across his room, caught in an absurdly intense debate with himself. Should he let Jude sleep through the night in his rain-soaked clothes, or should he change him into something dry and comfortable?

For someone who was a gang leader, who usually made firm decisions, this felt ridiculously difficult. He stood with his hands on his hips, sweating from nerves. A moment later, he dragged a hand through his hair and clutched his head in frustration. Then he sat on the edge of the bed, fingers intertwined while staring blankly at the floor, only to stand up and pace again seconds later.

The indecision was driving him crazy.

Sky had never struggled this much over such a simple choice before. Anxiety churned in his stomach, and to his annoyance, his hands were trembling slightly. It was a feeling he was not used to, one that made him even more restless.

Later, he would have to sort through and wash all of Jude’s belongings. Everything was drenched from the rain—his bag stained with mud, his clothes completely soaked through, and his school files sopping wet. Even his laptop had been caught in the downpour. But none of that mattered to Sky right now.

What mattered was that Jude could not stay in those clothes. That left Sky with only one option—letting him borrow some of his own.

Using Jasper’s clothes was not even worth considering. Knowing how organized Jasper was, if Jasper noticed anything missing, he would immediately start asking questions. Sky was not ready for that. He did not want anyone knowing Jude was here.

Not yet.

It took Sky quite some time to finally decide to change his clothes. Sky rummaged through his closet, searching for something that would fit Jude, but even the smallest sizes he owned still looked too loose. Eventually, he pulled out his favorite old black Batman T-shirt he used to wear when he was seven, along with a pair of pajamas and Batman boxers he had long outgrown. They were still slightly big, but they were the best option left for Jude.

He glanced back at him.

Jude was still fast asleep, his face marked with faded streaks of dried tears. Sky tightened his grip on the clothes, muttering under his breath as anxiety settled heavily in his chest. He had never felt this nervous before—his throat dry, his body restless, his thoughts scattered, his dick twitching.

Taking a long, steady breath, he moved closer to the bed. Sky carefully sat down beside him, his movements slow and cautious so as not to wake him. His hands hovered for a moment before he began gently changing Jude out of his damp clothes, focused only on making sure he was comfortable and warm.

Jude’s body was slender and frail, but Sky found him sexy. Those pink nipples with some small hairs and that inviting collarbone had Sky swallowing hard. Sky’s body reacted differently when he started to unbuckle his belt, and his sky-blue boxer was exposed right in front of him.

This feeling was not normal at all.

Why would I get hooked up with someone who was the same sex as me? Who has a penis, too? Sky thought.

Sky struggled to steady himself, forcing his composure back into place. It was not until he felt the sweat dripping down onto his lap that he realized just how tense he had become.

Jude’s private parts took his breath away. He gulped with utmost difficulty. Sky could feel something growing fast between his pants. Jude’s butt was the most beautiful masterpiece he had ever seen. The urge to damp his lips or put a mark on one of his butt’s cheeks scared Sky. It was perfectly crafted. It was smooth. No traces of scars. No fine lines. No rashes. It was pinkish. His dick. It was pink too. His dick was cute. He shaved. There were no traces of hair. It was like he shaved every day.

Sky’s hands trembled enormously as he finished dressing Jude in dry clothes. Every movement was careful and deliberate, done with the utmost gentleness, as if the slightest mistake might wake him. The last thing Sky wanted was for Jude to open his eyes, confused or frightened or thinking he was molesting him.

Once he was done, Sky exhaled shakily and ran a hand through his hair in frustration, trying to shake off the lingering uneasiness in his system. He quickly grabbed an extra mattress from the storage drawer and began preparing a proper space beside the bed, focusing on the task as a way to distract himself from the storm of emotions bombarding him wildly in his chest.

When everything was finally settled, Jude lay peacefully on the bed, beautiful and dry at last.

Sky stood there for a moment, catching his breath. He stared at Jude with awe; his hair glowed in the lamplight. He did not imagine his clothes would look perfect on Jude’s body. That was his favorite Batman T-shirt when he was young, now being worn by his favorite enemy. The clothes were too large for him, and he was sexy, lying there peacefully and safely in his home and care.
