Mitch leaned down, his mouth just inches from her neck. Closer. She arched her neck to give him better access. Closer. His lips grazed her skin. “Please,” she purred. Her breath was raspy as he continued his exploration. He kissed her milky white shoulders, dusted with freckles.
Isla reached up and pulled his head down to meet her lips. This time, he ran the tip of his tongue along the seam of her lips. She welcomed him in without hesitation, their tongues exploring each other. She turned in his arms and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down beside her on the bed. He pulled his lips away from hers and kissed along her jawline, traveling down to her breasts. His hands slipped under the hem of her shirt, and he lifted it over her head. He took each breast into his hands, his thumbs swiping gently across her pebbled nipples. Lowering his head, he took one into his mouth and suckled, while his fingers played with the other.
Isla moaned softly. Her body quaked as desire trembled through her. She took his face between her hands, then lifted his head to meet her gaze. It had darkened with desire.
She wanted this, wanted him. But she didn’t want to be stupid. “Mitch, are we sure about this?” Isla asked. “I don’t want us being together to compromise your job. And if we only have this one time, I’ll accept that. But I can’t let my life end without feeling you inside me. I need this, I need you.”
He stroked a finger down her cheek, then across her lips. They were swollen from his kisses. He gently kissed them again, sucking her lower lip into his mouth. He eased back and his darkened gaze sought hers. “Isla, what I feel for you, I’ve never felt before with any other woman I’ve ever been with. It might be wrong what’s about to happen here, but what happens between us is just that—between us. I want you.”
Her heart raced as she pulled him once more toward her. He hovered over her body as she pulled the shirt up his chest. He grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled it over his head. Her hands skimmed over his chest, every divot and valley waiting to be explored. She wanted to savor every moment of their time together. Who knew how long this would last? She may never see him again after today.
Anything could happen.
Mitch’s senses were in a tailspin. Her body was so lush, curves in all the right places, her breasts full and voluptuous. He wanted to worship her body, every inch of it. He couldn’t get enough of the feel of her skin against his. He didn’t want to rush their love making. If this were the only time they would ever be together, he wanted her to know it meant something. He wanted her to know what it was like to be worshipped and that he would cherish the memory of their time together—always.
Mitch’s erection pulsed against her thigh. He trailed kisses along her body, caressing her with his touch. There was only the two of them in this universe at this moment.
Mitch’s hand wandered down to the waistband of her yoga pants as he pulled them down her legs, then pulled them off her feet. He pulled her to the edge of the bed and dropped to his knees between her thighs. His touch traveled up her legs, and she parted them for him as he kissed the inside of her upper thighs.
Finally, he reached the apex of her legs. He dipped his head down to suckle the right spot. Her body arched into his mouth as his tongue swirled around the most sensitive part of her. He pushed a finger into her channel and pumped at a relentless pace as she writhed beneath his touch. He knew she needed him to help her relieve her tension.
He felt her body tense as her core pulled him into her. He added another finger and curved them to find her sweet spot. Her hands gripped his head as she pulled him closer. He could feel her body spasm as she went over the edge, her inner muscles pulsing, holding his fingers firmly in place.
“Oh Mitch!” she crooned. He could taste her release as it coated his tongue, so sweet. He craved more. He reached down to his waist and undid the button. He pulled down the zipper, his erection fighting to be released from its prison. He was so hard it hurt. As he traveled back up to her mouth, he kicked off his jeans and boxers.
They laid together thigh to thigh, belly to belly, chest to breast. He couldn’t believe how comfortably they fit together. “I need to get a condom.”
“I’m on the pill,” she said. “And all clean. I want to feel you, if it’s okay. All of you.”
“I’m clean as of my last checkup. If you’re sure…”
“I’m sure,” she said without hesitation. “I just want you inside me. I need you.”
He deepened their kiss. As he settled between her soft thighs, his erection probed her entrance. Looking into her sparkling eyes, he entered her slowly. He gently pushed into her inch by inch until he was fully sated. He kissed her lips and danced with her tongue as he waited for her body to adjust to his girth. Then slowly, rhythmically, he pumped into her body. His pace quickened as he felt her core tightening around him. He lifted her leg over his hip to bring them closer together.
“Harder, Mitch. Faster! Oh my God, I’m going to come again.” Her body trembled as her orgasm took over. Mitch could feel the tell-tale tingle run down his spine as he pumped into her, a sweet release. He collapsed on top of her, spent. His body still pulsed as he flipped onto his side. He brought her with him, still inside her. Connected in every way. He didn’t want to part himself from her.
They eventually pulled apart, his seed trickling down her thighs. He got up and went into the bathroom, returning with a warm washcloth for her. She lay there sleepily as he cleaned her up, looking up at him with a coy smile on her lips.
“That was a first for me,” she said finally, in awe. “So that’s how orgasms are supposed to feel…I could get addicted to them,” she giggled.
“You’re kidding, right? You’ve never had an orgasm before?” Mitch said with surprise.
“I’ve had little ones, when I…you know. But nothing like that! Let’s do it again!”
Mitch laughed at her enthusiasm. “Can we wait a little bit? You took a lot out of me. Give me a chance to recover,” he chuckled. Then his hand ventured down between her legs. “But that doesn’t stop you from having another one.”
Chapter eleven
Isla woke up encased in a pair of muscular arms, her head lying on a warm chest. The room was dark and the only sound she could hear was the sound of Mitch’s heartbeat and of the traffic on the highway outside their door. She felt comfortable and safe in his embrace. Everything about this man felt right. But she refused to read more into this night than what it really was. Having sex with Mitch was only a way to forget about the mess her life was in.
In the dark of night, they had fulfilled each other’s needs. This wasn’t love, it couldn’t be. They had only known each other for a little over two weeks. Days that felt like a dream with nightmares included. Her own life, the one that she had worked so hard for, was back in Pittsburgh—not here in a motel in the middle of nowhere. Not even in the beautiful mountains of Virginia. Would she ever be able to live that life again?
These feelings couldn’t be real. Who was she kidding? Mitch couldn’t have feelings for her. His career meant so much to him. He definitely wasn’t in the market for a girlfriend.
Whatever life she was living, Isla was sure it was a mess. God only knew where she would be next year—let alone next week. It felt like being back in foster care. Not knowing when she’d be moved to a new house. Trying to forget her old life so she could survive the new circumstances. Maybe that’s what she could do with her life in Pittsburgh. Push it away until she forgot. Commit herself to living day by day, location change to location change.
As Isla listened to Mitch breathe, she thought, Maybe I should just run. Everyone she cared about was in danger because of her. If she left now, everyone’s life would go back to normal, and if Marcus Hernandez did find her, then it would be over and her loved ones would be safe, either way.
