Wendy didn’t feel like going into specifics, into analyzing herself any more. “It’s a long story. Please?”

“Okay, fine. But I wanna see it on you.”

“Deal,” she agreed before she could give it a second thought.

“I’ll be back,” Grif announced, and melted into the clothing racks again.

With a half smile, she closed and locked the door behind him before turning to the oversized pile of items to try on.

And she frowned at the lack of color.

One step at a time.

Wendy tried on the clothes. The ones that she had picked out, Grif found the correct sizes in, so she sat her two pairs of leggings and two tee shirts aside.

The stuff Griffith picked out was… interesting.

“Is this a crop top?” she whispered, sharing an incredulous expression with her reflection. It was a hoodie in the sense that it had sleeves and a hood. But the rest of it was… gone.

Pulling it over her head, she tugged the sleeves on and tried to pull down the hem, only to discover the hem was pulled down.

Wendy snorted.

There was a knock at the door, and Grif’s voice called her name.

With a grin, she flung the door open.

“Did you really think this was going to fit me?” she asked.

She’d pulled it on over a shirt, but the hoodie wasn’t even long enough to cover her boobs. Grif covered his mouth with a hand, trying to hide a laugh. Wendy crossed her arms, which made the stiff fabric of the hoodie bunch up in the middle, exposing even more of the shirt beneath.

“I had to make sure you knew it existed,” Grif said. “What’s the point of it?”

Rolling her eyes, Wendy dropped her arms to tug at the hem. “It’s most certainly not to keep someone warm. If Tate wore it, it’d certainly make yoga more fun.”

When she glanced up, Grif was staring at her with an arched brow, and that was when she realized what had come out of her mouth.

“Should I go get one in his size?” he asked, lips twitching.

Wendy shut the door in his face.

Stripping off the half hoodie thing, she pulled the next thing out of the pile. Which was…

She frowned.

What the…

Wendy yanked the door back open.

And Griffith was still standing there. “Griffith!” she hissed. “What is this?”

The alpha was all innocence as she held up a hanger with nothing but a bunch of straps on it.

“It’s a body suit,” he explained, as if it was common knowledge.

Wendy shook her head, gave him a bewildered expression, and flapped her hand at the straps to make them sway back and forth. “There’s nothing suit-like about this,” she argued. “No.”

Griffith sighed heavily but accepted the hanger with a disappointed huff.
