Lane held him close. “I’ve got you, you good, needy boy. You feel so perfect.”

Rowan could only moan. His orgasm built and crashed over him with shuddering intensity, cock trapped between their stomachs, ass full and fucked so tenderly.

“That’s it, come for me.” Lane thrust, slipping two fingers between Rowan’s lips.

Rowan sucked, careful of his fangs.

Lane’s stormy eyes were half closed, his face and chest flushed with pleasure, his pulse pounding like music to Rowan’s ears. He came, eyes locked on Rowan, fingers working against his tongue, and cock pulsing in his ass.

At last, they stilled, but didn’t part. Rowan wanted to remain locked together forever.

When Lane slid his fingers from Rowan’s lips, Rowan caught his wrist and kissed it. His fangs tingled, everything in him aware of the blood flowing through his lover.

“Want a taste?” Lane asked, a strangely soft, smug look on his face.

“May I?”

Lane cupped his cheek. “Hell yeah, but you should bite my neck this time.”

Rowan’s senses pulled tight, and he was sure his eyes flashed orange. He needed Lane, and not in the way hunger had taken hold of him earlier. He was sated, in body and soul, like he hadn’t since all this began. This desire was something more.

“Please,” he groaned.

Lane pulled out and helped Rowan into a sitting position. Cum leaked out of him, one of his favorite filthy sensations. As a vampire, he couldn’t contract or pass on infections, so he never used condoms unless it was his partner’s preference. He couldn’t find it in him to worry about the desk. Magic would save it from being ruined, and if not, he didn’t give a fuck.

Their lips met, kissing around sharp fangs. Rowan worked his way to Lane’s neck, and Lane shivered in response. The perfect involuntary motion. An invitation Rowan couldn’t ignore.

His fangs pierced Lane’s flesh, rich essence filling his mouth, hot and thick. Lane’s spiced scent swelled around him. Rowan sent pleasure through his bite, into Lane’s blood, freeing the full power of his lust and letting it find its way home.

Lane gasped, his grip tightening in Rowan’s hair. He stiffened, then went lax, and let out a toe-curling moan, clinging to Rowan for support. “Oh, shit. So good.”

Rowan smiled and hugged Lane closer. He was hungrier than he’d realized, or should have been, after gorging himself less than an hour ago.

Ice extinguished the fire of his lust, and he pulled away, licking the wound closed with a small flare of vampire magic. His hunger intensified, veins screaming as they were denied more fresh blood. A deeply unsettled feeling washed away all Rowan’s pleasure, tension returning when he’d have sworn it was miles away.

“You all right?” Lane asked, not missing a thing.

“I’m hungry again. Not as extreme as before, and it’s not why I asked to bite you, but as I drank… I’m sorry.” Worry over ruining a perfect moment crushed the remainder of his afterglow.

“That’s all right. I’ll get you more blood,” Lane said as if the sudden shift in mood didn’t worry him. As if he wasn’t disappointed in Rowan.

Logically, Rowan knew Lane probably wasn’t, but his mind ran away from him, crafting a story about how Lane wouldn’t want him again after this.

Lane retrieved a bag from the cooler and handed it to Rowan. “Don’t worry.”

“I didn’t say anything.”

“You didn’t need to.” Lane cupped the nape of his neck. “You’re looking vulnerable, which makes sense if hunger caught you off guard, but you’re safe with me. You can tell me how you’re feeling.”

Rowan’s instinct was to shy away from such an exposing request, but he didn’t want to, not completely. “I’m feeling better now, less off balance than before you said that. Thank you.”

Lane kissed his forehead. “Any time.”

As Rowan drank the bagged blood, not bothering with a glass, Lane went to the small sink at the bar and wet a clean cloth. He helped Rowan clean up, seeing to the desk with a flare of magic, then returned to the sink to sort himself out as Rowan dressed.

He tucked in his wrinkled shirt and smiled.

Lane returned to his side, still naked. “Did the blood help?”
