“I…ah…um…I….”

“It’s okay, words are tough.” Cal’s lip curled up, and I thought I would burn up with embarrassment.

“You’re such an asshole,” I said, my hands balling into fists.

“But you still want me, don’t you, Sugar,” he said, his voice arrogant as he called me by my old pet name.

“Not even a little,” I pointedly looked down at his cock and turned to march out. Cal yanked me back, slamming the door closed before pressing me up against it.

“Say it again. Say you don’t want me,” Cal said, his lips hovering over my speeding pulse.

“I don’t want you,” I said, but it wasn’t true. Not even in the slightest. The problem was that I wanted everything back. I wanted all that we lost, and my heart was in jeopardy of being crushed.

Cal pushed back and let me go. I spun around to face him as the anger mingled with the need to have him, and made a toxic cocktail.

“What? Prefer fucking Alex instead?”

My hand moved before I had time to think, and the smack was loud as I connected with his cheek this time. His head turned with the sharp impact.

“Don’t you ever say shit like that to me again. I have only ever wanted you,” I said, my voice strained with the barely contained emotions.

“And yet I know different, don’t I?” He trapped me against the door with his arms on either side of my body.

“You know nothing,” I said as I stared at the pink handprint on his face. I’d never hit anyone before, and I just hit Callum Reeves, the only guy I ever loved. Breathing hard, I refused to look away from his eyes, searching my face. I shouldn’t have said anything, but he made me furious.

The shower running in the background was the only sound in the room as we continued our stare-off.

“I should go,” I said, breaking the silence between us.

“No, I don’t think so.”

“What the fuck are you doing?” I squealed as he dragged me into the running shower and under the spray. “You’re such a dick. Look at my clothes.”

“Keep calling me names, and I’ll wash that mouth of yours out with soap.” He held up the bar, and I swallowed hard. “And yes, I fucking would.”

“I hate you so much,” I said.

Cal grabbed the front of my wet t-shirt, and with a loud rip, the material tore in two.

“There is a thin line between love and hate, Sugar.” He tossed my shirt out the shower door and, using only one hand, undid my bra. My arms flew up to cover myself.

I hated that he was right about that. I’d never stopped loving him, and I hated myself for being unable to turn it off.

“You came in here and watched me stroke my cock. The least you can do is help me finish,” Cal said, and I shuddered as he took my balled hand and jerked me towards him. “Open your hand, Sugar.”

“Make me,” I sassed back, knowing the response I would get. Deep down, I wanted him to make it impossible to say no. At least then, I could deny enjoying this, but my heart knew otherwise.

“You want to play that game?” I once more found myself face first up against the wall, the cold tile making me shiver as my nipples pressed against it. “You keep saying the same words, but you haven’t run out the door.” He growled into the side of my neck as his hand slid down the front of my yoga pants.

“I would if you let me go,” I said, and he chuckled as his finger swirled around my clit. My hips moved with him, my body outing me as a liar.

“I’ve never let you go,” he said. His movements muddled my brain, and I didn’t know what he meant when him leaving was the literal definition of him letting me go. I opened my mouth to argue just as he slid his finger inside me, and my thoughts swirled down the drain with the water. “Fuck, I want to be in this pussy so bad.” He pressed deeper as he rubbed his cock against my ass. “Now, tell me you don’t want me,” he said, wrapping his hand around my neck and pulling me back into his body. “Say the words, Sugar,” he ordered in my ear. “Say how horrible I am, how much you hate me, how you never want me to fuck you again. Say it, and I’ll let you fucking walk out that door right now.”

“This isn’t fair,” I gasped. “I can’t think straight.”

“All you have to say is, let me go and I will.”

The words were caught in my throat, I couldn’t say them. “You hurt me,” I blurted out instead.
