It was clear that their family wasn’t going to be able to not make comments in front of Ridge and Lucian at this point. That Tori had to warn Julian not to go there, and he still went there…
That told her all she needed to know.
Finding out they slipped and actually did have sex on this plane simply wasn’t their business, and she didn’t believe it caused any of this.
There had to be cracks in the wall before this happened, or Wynter would not have taken it to another man’s bed.
“You’re a stronger person than I am,” he admitted. “I’d struggle with it.”
Tori tried to help her out because she understood that none of this was cut and dry, nor their concern. Their world was a mishmash of crazy on a good day, and what their employees did in their own homes was none of their business.
On a bad day, it could be difficult, so why make it worse?
They were NOT going to judge or demonize anyone for this since it wasn’t their life.
“Maybe all of this has a point,” she began. “I’m going to start having an affair.”
It was his turn to gasp. Now, Julian was staring at her, but he didn’t get to say a word.
“I think it’s going to be with a hot brunette with huge knockers.”
That’s when it happened.
Slowly, he smiled.
When he opened his mouth to say something regarding that, Tori put him in his place.
“One, that’s not happening, but see how you were immediately not offended when you found out it was a same sex romp? Ridge and Lucian are of the same sex. Bishop can’t compete with a dick, and Ridge can’t compete with those tits,” she said, glancing over at her. “They are nice tits, and you were the brunette in this scenario.”
Both Honor and Bishop laughed.
How could they not?
It amused Bishop that she’d just said the same thing to Hart when he’d asked her if she was okay.
For a few seconds, Julian was silent. It was clear he was considering it.
Finally, he spoke.
“Okay, you’ve made your point. I didn’t think of it that way. I still would lose my mind over it, but I can see why you might not be upset because it’s a man he is sleeping with in the static. He’s not replacing you.”
Yeah, and there it was.
“If it was a woman, I’d go on a rampage,” Bishop said. “That’s a little too close to the fire for me. I would have said no to that request and then slapped the shit out of my husband. I know from being around Ridge and Lucian, it’s not about boredom fucks. They love each other, and their lives are connected in the static. He can die in there without Ridge. I can’t judge it the same. I know what’s on the line. If it comes down to losing my husband in the static, or him coming out each time due to his partnership with Ridge, I’m choosing the latter every single time.”
That was a good point.
When Julian was about to bring up the medallions again, Bishop’s phone rang again.
Only, she didn’t recognize the number.
“Detective Monroe,” she said, answering it and not putting it on speaker.
That’s when she heard the very familiar voice.
“Hey, it’s Maura. We have a problem. We found you a new victim. Oracle nailed it, again. Right now, she’s hanging in a tree, and we couldn’t get close enough to give you more. I think her neck is broken from the drop, so this needs the cops. Tag. You’re it, pretty girl. I’ll send the address.”
“Oh, shit.”
