Do you need me to come get you, or are you okay with being there?

I’m okay. Not overwhelmed yet, but I think we’ll have to leave soon anyway. Everyone is getting text messages, so it probably won’t last as long.

Raelynn

I miss you.

Raelynn

I don’t really like being away from you for so long.

Daddy

Raelynn giggled and placed her phone on the table.

“I need to go,” Rainey said. “Daddy wants me back home since I technically wasn’t supposed to be here. I’m in trouble.”

“Good luck,” Echo said, laughed.

Demi and Raelynn said goodbye before turning to each other.

“I need to get ready for my shift at the bar,” Demi said.

The three of them rose out of their chairs and left the café.

“Let me text my Daddy and say we’ll be walking her home and then back to the clubhouse,” Raelynn said.

“Oh, you don’t nee⁠—”

Her words were cut off when someone covered her mouth.

“Demi!” Raelynn screamed as arms wrapped around her.

“Shut up, Bitch,” a man growled in her ear.

“Reaper!” she yelled.

Her eyes fell onto Demi and Echo, who were slumped against Springfield Sinner men. She kicked her feet back, trying to get the man in the balls but something fell over her mouth right as she took a deep breath in and everything went black.

“Raelynn,” someone whispered. “Please don’t be dead. I don’t know what they’ll do with me if you’re dead.”

She moaned, her head thumping with her heartbeat.

“Oh, Rae!” The person’s voice got louder. “Wake up for me. I think they’re going to come back soon, and I need you to wake up. I don’t want you to get hurt while you’re asleep. Please.”

Raelynn blinked several times, everything blurry and dark. What was going on? Where were they? What happened?

“Oh, thank goodness,” she whispered. “I’m Demi, remember me? We were at the coffee shop, but now we are in… I don’t know where. Everything went black when we walked out of the coffee shop, and I don’t remember anything else.”

She moved her head to the right to find Demi sitting against the wall, her hands tied in front of her.

“Demi,” she murmured.
