“That son of a bitch,” I mutter under my breath, rubbing my hand over my mouth. Feeling the anger build, I rip the hat off my head and chuck it across the chapel.
Celine reaches me in a second, and her hands find my face, forcing me to look at her.
“You need to calm down, Alex. I get it, okay? He shouldn’t have threatened either of us, and as angry as I am about all of this, we need to stay calm. Being angry won’t get us anywhere.”
“So, what? We just let him continue going about his life? Taking advantage of the women here?”
Her thumb strokes my cheek. “We will figure something out. Something that won’t drag us down with him.”
“Celine, I swear if he threatens you again—”
“He won’t.” She shakes her head in reassurance. “I’ll back down. I’ll drop my attitude and play nice for now and stay out of trouble.”
My jaw tenses under her touch, and she offers a soft smile as I repeat her words. “We need to stay calm.”
“Yes.”
Nodding, my hand wraps around her wrist while the other finds the back of her head. In one swift move, I pull her into me.
Our mouths crash together, and I can sense the shock in her body by the abruptness, but once her body and mind catch up with each other, Celine melts under my touch. The way she moans in my mouth makes a flip switch in me. The anger I feel toward Father Keaton slowly dissolves every time Celine swipes her tongue against mine.
Fuck, I missed her.
I drop my hand from her head and slide them under her ass, lifting her to walk us towards the stage. Carefully going up the three steps, I set her down by the altar.
Tugging at her nightgown, I breathlessly demand, “Take this off.”
“What if someone walks by and sees us?” Her eyes dart toward the open doors.
“It’s almost midnight.”
“So? We know now that Father Keaton stays up late sometimes.”
I’d like to think that since I didn’t see his office light on, that he is sound asleep, but she has a point. Just because he isn’t in his office, doesn’t mean he isn’t roaming the halls.
Staring down into her anxious gaze, I leave her at the altar and stalk down the aisle to the door, shutting it and twisting the lock. As I turn to go back to Celine, I notice the bowl of holy water sitting on its pedestal. With a smug grin, I pick it up with both hands and I’m careful not to spill any as I make my way back to her.
Not that it matters anyway. There won’t be any left by the time I’m done with her.
I set it on the white cloth draped over the altar. Stepping in front of Celine, I bend down to grab the hem of the nightgown and drag the fabric up her body. She lifts her arms making it easier to take the dress off completely. I toss it to the floor, not taking my eyes off of the sight before me. She is completely naked. I groan at the sight, my cock begging to be released.
“Your turn.” Her hands clutch the bottom of my hoodie, and I let her peel it off me, leaving me in only my gray sweats.
Her eyes roam over my body, taking in the tattoos scattered on my arm, and her fingertips softly brush over the ink on my ribs. It’s a small movie ticket with the name of one of my dad’s favorite films and the date we saw it in theaters.
“For my dad.” I hold in my breath as her warm fingers coast across my skin.
Her face is full of concentration as she inspects the tattoo. “It’s beautiful.”
“You’re beautiful.” Her cheeks blush at the compliment, dipping her head in embarrassment. “I’m serious, Celine. You are the most beautiful woman to walk this Earth. Your beauty is so ethereal that I don’t deserve to look at you. Or to even touch you.”
She takes my hand in hers, placing mine over her heart. “You are deserving, Alex.”
I stare into her eyes, seeing the honesty in them and feeling the truth radiate from her. I scoop her up suddenly, making her arms wrap around my neck with a squeal. I set her on the edge of the altar and don’t waste another second, I spread her legs and drop to my knees.
My mouth attaches to her clit without hesitation. I suck harshly, pulling a gasp from her and god did I miss the sounds she makes. Celine’s legs close around my head from the roughness, but I’m quick to push them further apart.
“Keep them open,” I demand.
