“Maybe we shouldn’t. It’s been…amazing. But if it was just for fun.”

I cut her off with another deep kiss. And then murmuring in her ear in a husky whisper as I roll her beneath me. “It’s been fun. It’s been mind blowingly fun.”

Leaning back I look her in the eyes. “I want you Ginny. I want you now.” My rock hard cock between her legs back up what I’m saying. “I need you. I need you now and tomorrow and the next day and the day after that.” I pause to kiss down the side of her throat. My whole body moving against her. “I want this body. I want your constant chatter and your wild ideas. I want to love you and argue with you. I want a life with you.”

And then looking at her again, I ask a little nervously, “What do you think about all that?”

She smiles and I feel like my heart will explode with joy. And now it’s her time to whisper. “I think you should do what makes you happy.”

With a loud moan of pleasure my cock pushes into her pussy. Filling her. Stretching her. It feels just as amazing as the first time. But this time it’s even better. Because she is mine. I am hers. And this is just the beginning of something amazing together.

Chapter 9

Ginny

3 Weeks Later

“I can’t believe how much my brother has changed.”

I let out a laugh. Magnus’ sister Annie is looking at me like I’m some sort of miracle worker. She’s over for lunch and she and I are sitting outside on the newly built deck while Magnus is inside cooking.

“I didn’t do anything.” I give a little shrug.

“Are you kidding? My brother was turning into a grumpy old man up here all alone. And now he is all smiles and inviting me to stay for lunch. When he used to demand that I leave after about ten minutes before you came here.”

I shake my head. I can’t believe that is true. Magnus might have given the impression of being a grumpy loner, but he is also the guy who offered a stranger shelter from the storm. He made me hot cocoa, shared his clothes with me, shared his food with me. He wasn’t such a bad guy.

“And you’ve got him doing things around here, like building this deck.” Annie looks around, taking in all the changes we’ve made to the front of the cabin. A front porch was needed, so people knocking on the door in the rain don’t get absolutely soaked through. And the deck, giving us somewhere to sit once the sun came out. I’ve been planting flower beds and found that I really enjoy working in the soil. Planting things with the idea that I will be around to watch them grow and bloom.

“Magnus has been up here for years talking about doing up this cabin.” Annie continues. “But he was just moping around not doing anything.”

I give her a little frown. This is the second time I’ve met Annie. And I think she and I might be friends. But I don’t like the way she talks about her brother. “I think he just needed time to heal. Your brother is a good man. It’s not like I’m telling him to fix things. He just got up one morning and started doing little jobs around the cabin.”

Annie laughs. “You don’t have to defend him to me. I love my brother. I guess I’m just happy to see him happy. It’s been a long time. We’ve been worried about him.”

I nod in agreement. Despite Magnus wanting to be left alone, I have learnt that he is close to his family. He comes out now, with plates full of food. The man does love to cook. As we settle into our meals we talk about our plans for the cabin. He wants to put in a new kitchen. Possibly a new bathroom.

All the while Annie shoots me little knowing looks. She still thinks I’ve changed her brother, or at least brought out the best in him. Maybe it is true. But it’s nothing compared to what meeting Magnus has done for me.

Firstly there is the sex. The sex is amazing. Orgasmic. But it’s not some special skill of his, although the man knows what he is doing! It is more how comfortable I feel with him. I have always been an over-thinker. Too much going on in my head. But Magnus has a way of making me centred on the here and now. I don’t have to worry about how I look naked or hiding my wobbly bits from him. Magnus makes me feel loved. Worshiped. Sexy and powerful.

It’s a level of comfort that allows us to truly enjoy each other. We try new things. We can laugh, even at the most inappropriate times. Because it is so much fun being together. He can turn me on with just a look. He can give me the most earth shattering orgasms, one after the other. But my most favorite bit is the after when we hold each other. Wrapped in his arms. The gentle touch here and there. Knowing that what we have together is so special.

Then there is the love that grows between us. It’s early days, just three weeks. People would say we are still in that honeymoon period. But when we look at each other, we just know. We trust in each other. We want to grow together. There is no power struggle here. Just a partnership built on love.

And this is where the biggest change has been for me. I am loved. I am supported. All my life I’ve searched for something. Always moving around. Always changing my mind. Never feeling like I have a home base. But Magnus is big and solid and settled. He is like the anchor I’ve needed. A person to trust. A place to call home.

Annie thinks I have changed her brother for the better. But I know it is something in me that has changed. Or Magnus and I have found it together. It’s not happiness, though there is joy. We know there will be happy times and there might be pain. It’s a life together that we have found that is so special. I came looking for happiness and I found love instead.

And with this new foundation, I have changed my thesis topic once again. Instead of focusing on what is happiness, I’ve decided to focus on what is the feeling of home.

Epilogue

Ginny

Six Months Later

There are boxes everywhere, but every morning I wake up excited to get this house in order. We’ve bought a house in town. Not the biggest house. Not some fancy mansion. Neither of us want that. We don’t want to be that far apart in our own home. It’s a beautiful little house with extra rooms for kids in the future, a big back yard, room for entertaining and a front porch with a swing, where we can sit in the evening and watch the sunset.
