“Is that so?” I ask as I lean over to her and slide my hands between her legs.

“Someone’s hungry, huh?” she asks as she opens her leg.

“Practically starved.”

“What about getting to know each other?”

“I know enough for right now,” I say. “Later you will tell me about all your secret fantasies and deepest desires.

She giggles, and I dive into the object of my desire, causing her giggles to turn into a laughter that sends goosebumps onto my arms.

It’s this wonderful real laughter she has.

The laugh of a person who has gone through shit but refuses to let it dim the light entirely. The laugh that tells me she is here with me. And everything that comes with it.

The good and the bad.

The boring and the exciting.

The messy and the epic.

“What the fuck is that?” I ask as I walk out of the garage into the yard over an ear-splitting sound, only to find a grasshopper green motorcycle with black hand-painting coming to a halt in front of the stairs.

On it, a woman—long legs, tight leather pants, tank top, no bra, perfect breasts, no protective gear. I chuckle, turning into laughter; I’d recognize those boobies anywhere.

“Where the fuck did you get that?” I ask as I walk up to Addy, who removes the helmet, her long blonde hair falling messily out of the helmet.

“You’ll love it,” she says, turning the throttle handle. I am used to loud, but that bike should be forbidden. “She’s supercharged. Got her to 250 mp/h.”

“You are insane,” I say as I kiss her.

“Love to be,” she says, kissing me back.

“I have a surprise for you,” she whispers against my lips. “But there is something I have to do first.”

“Oooookay,” I say.

She gets off the bike.

“JACKASS!” she shouts at the top of her lungs. “Where the fuck are you?”

“What did he do?” I ask, but walks away the moment my brother sticks his head out the front door.

“What have I done?” he asks.

“Come down here,” she says. He just looks at me, apparently scared of what is about to happen.

He doesn’t come, so she stalks up, and I figure my brother has done well to stay away from her, because she looks fucking angry.

“Come here,” she says at the door, and points him to her with her fingers.

“What’s going on with you?” he asks as he opens the door.
