He laughed. “An animal, huh?”

She smiled.

He kissed her again. “I have to get up.”

She held his arm tighter around her waist, wanting to stay just like this, finding it erotic to look down and see him still inside her. “You don’t have to.”

“Unfortunately, I do. Unless we’re going to make the condom a moot point.”

She wrinkled her nose and loosened her grip. “Good point.”

“You’re not on birth control?”

She shook her head. “I don’t have sex enough to warrant remembering to take a pill every morning.”

“I see.” He untangled himself from her and got up, disappearing into the bathroom.

She covered herself with the soft blankets, finding herself chilly now that Nate was gone. “Are the condoms a problem?”

“Only when we run out.” He came back and joined her in bed. “I’ll make a stop off at the drugstore and buy the biggest box they’ve got.”

She grinned and snuggled up. “Are you sleepy?”

“Mmm. You’re the best damn exercise I’ve ever had.”

She chuckled, surprised that after such an intense experience, she was too. “I’m sort of sorry I woke you up.”

He laughed. “I’m not sorry at all.” He kissed her tenderly. “Wanna catch some z’s for a while? We can wake up later and pick up where we left off.”

Her eyes widened. “You’re insatiable.”

“You’re starting to know me so well.” He tucked her up against him. “Night, Callie.”

“Good night.”
