I always forget how long it takes to get anywhere on the East Coast. Colorado is FAR.

But it was good. I slept most of the time, there was no turbulence, and I’m finally on the ground! I’m also very stoked to win on your ice tomorrow.

How’s your afternoon going?

Damn, Green. Coming in hot with the confidence. I like it.

My afternoon has been decent. I got my ass kicked at practice, had lunch with a couple of the guys, and now I’m sprawled out on the couch playing some video games.

Do you have dinner plans?

AG

Nothing beyond the team dinner in the hotel which is always pretty underwhelming.

Want to grab some Italian?

The place is close to your hotel. Or I could order takeout and we can hang at my apartment.

This is all a platonic hang out, by the way!

Something to go that we eat outside? It’s warm enough.

I like that idea. Meet me at the Washington Monument at 6:30. I know a secluded spot.
