When Todd had crossed a line the day before, Luca had meant the words he used a threat. He knew people that could make Todd disappear.
“A job?” Luca tickled the side of his brother’s ribs. “Something you want to tell me?”
Skinner growled. “I would never put your brother in danger.” There was something dark in the words.
“It’s okay, sir.” Marco abandoned Luca to wrap both arms around his man’s waist. “He’s just teasing.”
Skinner sniffed.
Okay, time to change the subject. Fast. “How long can you stay?” he asked.
“Just popping in today to see you compete,” Marco answered. “Then we’ll be back in a week. We can stay for three more days.”
“You’re going to watch the competition?” Luca asked. None of his family had ever supported Luca’s love of surfing. It would be worse if Luca had ever taken one of those huge endorsement deals. They hadn’t been what Luca wanted.
“No,” Marco said as he turned to press his back into Skinner’s wide chest. Skinner grasped both of Marco’s hips tight, holding him in place.
“No?” Luca was confused. Wasn’t that what Marco had just said?
“No,” Marco repeated. “We’re here to see you dominate.”
Luca’s grin grew. “Wait to be amazed.”
“That’s my brother,” Marco said with pride.
CHAPTER FIVE
Brad
After watching, on this side of stalking, Luca for two days, Brad finally realized that the strangers that had suddenly showed up were Luca’s brother, Marco, and Marco’s partner, Skinner.
Brad had been concerned. That protective part of him wanting to make sure that Luca was safe with the new people around him.
With Marco it was easy to see the family resemblance to Luca with their dark hair, sharp cheekbones, and expressive eyes. Marco’s partner was a big beast of a man and a little on the scary side. Brad hadn’t heard the big guy talk much yet when he looked at his smaller and younger partner, there was love in his eyes.
They’d left about an hour ago once Luca had placed first in the surfing competition. Luca had completed the three-peat. Brad had overheard Luca’s brother telling Luca they’d be back in a week for a longer visit. Luca had lit up as happiness shone from his eyes.
Now sitting inside the coffee shop with their friends celebrating Luca’s win, Brad wondered what else he didn’t know about the boy. Family, goals, what he wanted. Brad found himself more curious yet too shy to ask all the questions. Like, was Luca close to the rest of his family?
Luca’s brother had called his partner sir and served him with a look of sereneness on his face. The strong dominant and submissive vibes had radiated from the couple. And Luca hadn’t seemed shocked by the dynamic, so it must have been something that Luca already knew about.
Since Brad knew that their group was full of Daddies and littles, he wondered how many other guys he’d find were on the kinky side.
He ran his gaze across the room where Luca was making the biggest, messiest chocolate drinks topped with too much whip cream and cherries. Brad was dying to get his hands on Luca again. Two days was two days too long.
Luca and Dawson brought over the drinks on trays and started to pass them around.
Brad sat sandwiched between James and Josh, and Cal was next to Josh with James’s twin, Scott, in front of him. James’s partner and Daddy, Jacob, was across the table from James. That meant that once everyone had their drinks, Dawson pulled the chair out in front of Josh, leaving Luca to settle in front of him.
“This looks disgusting,” Cal grumbled. “What is it?”
Leaning forward, Scott closed his eyes as he took a long drink from the straw, moaning.
Cal’s eyes widened.
Brad pressed his lips together as James sighed.
“Double chocolate cookie crumble mocha with whip cream, cherries, and cookie crumbles on top.” James sucked down his own drink. “Or in another word, heaven.”
