“I do. I promised him.” Morgan blew out a breath. “Call me after your game though and let’s plan something else.”
“Can’t get enough of me, huh?”
“Oh, shut up.” She swatted his chest. “You haven’t had your fill of me either.”
“This is true information.” He lowered his head and they kissed again. It was one of those tragic love story kisses that went on too long and yet not long enough.
“Miss Rayhill, the jet is ready,” a man in a black, button-down shirt and black pants who snuck up while they were making out said.
“Thanks, Keith. I’ll be right there.”
Keith scurried off and Morgan turned back to Sawyer. “Good luck at your game. I’ll be watching after the charity thing.”
“All the goals I make will be for you, baby.”
“I bet you say that to all the girls.” She rolled her eyes.
“Nope.” He shook his head then put his lips right to her ear. “Only the ones who let me tie them up.”
Sawyer thoroughly enjoyed the shudder that shook Morgan’s body in his hold. When she stepped back from him, she flipped the end of the purple scarf she’d worn over her shoulder. The other three were stuffed in a Maplehaven tote bag she’d bought from Pine River Cottages’ gift shop. She’d promised to keep them safe.
For next time.
“See ya, Mr. Center Forward.” She blew him a kiss and sashayed to the gate, disappearing with Keith.
Sawyer vowed that Morgan Rayhill wouldn’t stay disappeared from his life for long.
