Not breaking to give her time to recover, I sunk a thumb into her tight ass, and kept up my pace with my cock. She stopped thrusting, yearning and stayed still, letting me set my pace, and I did, my cock enjoying her soft tight channel and scraping the edges of her nerves with my size. She mewled, gasped, cried out and begged, for what, I doubt she knew. I slid a hand under her chest and pinched her nipple hard. Vittoria cried out. Her walls squeezing me so tight, set off my release. Howling I pumped inside of her. But I wasn’t done…

My distraction with Vittoria was becoming a liability. Not for me, but Massimo was not happy about the carnal bliss I was enjoying.

“She’s distracting, Rom. Knock her up and get your head back in the game.” he’d said not an hour ago. Although babies were highly celebrated, it wasn’t my purpose in claiming her as my bride.

She presented a challenge I wanted to control. And fucking her had become my new favorite hobby. I was seriously considering finding her for some afternoon delight when I spotted her walking past the window with one of her security. She pointed to something and her guard looked and laughed at something she said.

What the fuck?

Rage hit me fast and absolute. There was a familiarity between them I immediately disliked. I left the office through another panel and headed down a level. Here was where the real action happened. Everything above this floor was catered to family and pretense. Everything on this floor was the dark and dirty of my world. The security was high and so were my expectations.

I slammed open the door of the security room to find my tech guy busy eating lunch and texting on his phone.

“Out!” I yelled. I locked the door after him and watched her through the lens of every camera angle offered of the gardens. He was too close to her. Their arms brushed and she didn’t move away. Who the fuck was this guy? He was new, but surely he’d been educated on the cost of touching the Don’s wife?

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and called Massimo, who had handled the hiring of Vittoria’s new security detail. A few of the men had been with us for years, and a few others were taken from other positions in our massive organization and were not as well known to me. “Where are you?” I barked.

“Just pulling in. Where do you need me?”

“Security room, now!” I barked and hung up.

Soon, the door flew open, Massimo panting as he stepped through. “I’m here. What’s going on?”

“That —“ I pointed to the screen. ”—is what the fuck is going on.”

Massimo stared at the bank of screens, his gaze traveling from one to the other. “What am I missing? Nothing seems out of place.”

I wanted to rip his fool head off and yell at the top of my lungs. But that wasn’t who I was. I hadn’t been reduced to losing my cool about a woman in front of others, yet.

“Who is he and why is he touching my wife?” I couldn’t hide the possessiveness in my tone. My wife!

Massimo returned his attention to the screens, watching the pair. “That is Theo, her personal guard and if I had to guess, I’d say he’s being friendly.”

“Or flirting,” I said darkly.

Massimo served me a look of annoyance that almost bordered on a glare. “You think I’d put a man on your wife’s security team if I wasn’t dead sure he could stand naked in the shower with her and wash her tits without getting hard? My men do their job, Romeo, and so the fuck do I.”

Massimo was right and I knew it, but reason did nothing to cool the possessive rage burning through me. Theo’s only crime had been standing too close to my wife. Before I could speak, Massimo added, “Regardless, do you want me to move him elsewhere in the organization?”

“Put him on guard duty at the docks. If he complains about the demotion, then send him away, Antarctica, or six feet below, I don’t care.”

I didn’t recognize myself. I leaned back in the chair, one leg crossed over the other in the posture of a relaxed man, but my body betrayed my nerves; my foot tapped air and my fingers drummed on the desk. I despised those rare moments when I let my true feelings show, but Massimo knew me too well to have been fooled even if I’d been motionless.

Massimo’s dark gaze turned inquisitive. “Rom, I haven’t seen you this worked up since the news about your father. What’s going on?”

I slammed my foot to the floor and pushed away from the desk. “Hell, if I know, Simo. Please tell me this is just lust and I’ll be over it soon.”

My brother’s face split into an uncharacteristic grin. “Oh Rom, you got it bad. I’m so sorry, brother.”

On full alert, I sat forward in my chair, almost upending it and landing on my ass on the floor. “What? What do I have?”

Simo laughed so hard, he filled the room with his rare display of laughter. If he were anyone else, I’d pull out my gun and shoot him, but his laughter was infectious and soon I was laughing right along with him, glad there were no witnesses.

“Brother,” he said wiping the tears of merriment from his eyes, “I have to inform you that you are in love.”

No! No way in hell was I in love with that little brat. She was entertainment, and that was all I needed her for. Simo was lying. He had to be… right?

“You know lying to your Don can get you killed. Don’t make me kill you, brother, I would miss you too much.”
