Now, the calls were fewer and farther between. Except yesterday. Two young men coming at the behest of a famous Hollywood producer. They would be actors in the new movie and needed someone to portray their father-figure, teaching them about the ways of women.
It was a role made for him. He could play the young, handsome, knowledgeable father and perhaps, depending on how these young men looked, he could teach them a few things along the way.
He stepped back from the mirror, looking at his full-body profile. A pair of white linen pants, hinting at what was beneath should the young men want it. He had no body hair. Everything was shaved for aesthetic purposes, but also practical purposes. Hair left evidence.
His tanned feet were in a pair of Gucci sandals, his matching linen shirt open to the middle of his torso, the sleeves casually, effortlessly rolled to his elbows. His hair, a mix of brown and gray was combed back, the thick, waves giving him a sexy look.
He turned the lights off in his bedroom, smiling at the neatly made bed. His maid had cleaned the room while he’d showered and changed, not even a whisper heard.
As he stepped into the sunken living room, he stared out at the sea below. It was going to be a beautiful day and he could already see the young bodies on the beach, their scraps of material barely hiding their assets.
Looking at the photo on the wall, he cringed. It was an engagement photo from almost thirty years ago. Madeline. She’d been his one true love.
The problem was she didn’t share his sexual appetites, nor did she tolerate them. Had she not been the daughter of an extremely powerful crime boss, he would have had his way with her and then killed her.
Instead, he was forced to face the humility of a public break-up. She was the last woman he’d ever considered for his bride. When asked, he simply told people that she’d died. She had. Twenty years after their break-up in a car accident.
He heard the sounds of a sports car pulling into the driveway and his smiled, clapping his hands together.
“Let the hunt begin.”
CHAPTER FOURTEEN
“I look like a fucking pimp,” growled Kai. Iggy laughed, shaking his head.
“You look like someone young with money to throw away. Remember, this dude could like guys and girls. We just want to keep him busy while the others search the house.”
The rest of the team had parked further down the road, cloaked in the stealth suits and now waiting outside the seaside mansion. Iggy and Kai had been shocked when they saw the stealth suits, then realized that this was most likely how Grayson had kept them alive for so long.
Stepping out of the tiny car, both men growled, as they unfolded, straightening their large bodies. Iggy wore a pair of khaki linen pants and paisley silk shirt with leather sandals, or mandals as he called them. His matching linen jacket was flung over his shoulder, held by his index finger.
Kai was wearing black linen, head to toe. With his dark hair and eyes, he looked menacing and sexy at the same time. The two men said nothing, stepping up to the door and knocking.
When Cesar opened the door himself, they were surprised but not shocked. He probably had asked his staff to leave them for the day.
“Gentlemen! How wonderful to meet you,” he said with a smile too white to be natural. He stepped back, waving them forward. Kai walked into the room but Iggy stood at the doorway smiling.
“If you’ll give a moment, Mr. Moreau, I’m admiring the view. The fact that I can see from your front porch all the way through the home and out to the sea, it’s just stunning.”
Moreau laughed walking a few more steps into the room. Iggy could feel the bodies coming in behind him, one-by-one until the last one tapped his shoulder. They were in.
“Please, there is much more to see,” he said with a sickly-sweet smile.
“That view is just taking me in,” said Iggy.
“Well, it’s a good thing I’ve prepared a little something for us on the veranda. Come. We’ll enjoy the scenery together,” he smiled.
They took their seats in the comfortable patio chairs and stared at the water beyond as if they’d never seen water before. There were two pitchers of what appeared to be sangria and two bottles of wine. To the side, were several bottles of water, sealed.
“Just water for me,” said Kai.
“Same,” smiled Iggy. “We have a lot of driving to do today.”
“Seeing other potential actors?” asked Moreau suddenly tense.
“Yes, although we can’t release their names, for confidentiality purposes. You understand,” smiled Kai.
“Yes, of course. Well, tell me about this amazing film. A period film with gladiators, I hear.”
